What? He's good offensively. He's having a decent spring, and he's injury free. If he's free you don't want that for a DH? Okay.

He's not even good offensively. He's a below average hitter over like 1300 PA in the last three years. There's no place for Ryan Howard on a MLB roster.

He's having a terrible spring( took 10 seconds to look that up), put up a .690 OPS as a first baseman last year, and has been below average over the past 3 years, how is that good?

He's 35 now, he isnt all of a sudden going to improve

Why would Papelbon care about who can or can't take on his contract? I just find it interesting that he's shown a strong desire to join the Jays of all teams.

The Boston factor, he seems like a petty dude but I'm just going by that smug ridiculous face.

I wouldn't even roster him in LOD lol.

Its funny because I actually took him in the LOD and I'm still clearly bashing him. He's a decent play with his power numbers as a bench bat against righties, but I'd cringe watching him play every week in real life.

Well that's awkward. I had no idea he was on your team. Oops.

Yeah, I sometimes think I'd like to have Graveman (I think he may actually be the best piece Oakland got out of the trade, especially if Lawrie continues to have injury issues), but then I think about what Donaldson will do for our lineup and it makes everything ok.

Kind of cool little infographic:

I don't know about you guys, but I think Soler is going to be a stud this year. All the hype is on Bryant, but don't forget about Soler.
