I'm sure you guys already know this but drinking is a depressant. You drink because you want to change how you feel in that moment, the problem is the more you drink will lead to you feeling worse over time and so you will want to drink even more to feel better again. Sorry, if I what I'm saying is obvious, it's just I'm a recovering alcoholic.

 

With that said, there's nothing wrong with a cold beer now and then if you can drink responsibility. But there's a good portion of people who drink too much and it affects their mental health, which affects their lives and those around them negatively...
