Hanley to Boston 5/90

Sounds like the deal is all but done. Deal is around 5/90 according to Ken R. Price seems lower than I initially thought but I still wouldn't of done it I don't think.

I don't think the red sox are done just yet. Hanley is signed until he's 35, and apparently he was asking for 130-150m when he was with the dodgers. It's a solid signing for the red sox if it's really 5/90 that's for sure, he's still a solid hitter.

 

No one thought Hanley would go that cheap at the start off the offseason, and no one thought Martin would get 5 years either.

Its definitely less than I expected and Martin got more than I expected but all I'm saying is I would rather have Martin. Martin is barely a year older and I think Martin will age better than Hanley.
