comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Not saying they will. But if they do,shouldn,t they fire AA as well? Injuries to our most key players/positions/pitchers have killed us over the last few years. We are all past the point of being sick, and tired, and fed up with not making the playoffs for so long. If they do fire Gibby, and make him the scapegoat, who should they replace him with? These 4 people have expressed interest in becoming our mgr over the last little while. Art Howe Tim Wallach Sandy Alomar JR Ernie Whitt Not sure if they are still interested, but if so who would you like to see as the new skipper?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Ernie Whitt for Manager, Buck Martinez for GM and Pat Tabler for President and CEO.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Cito got two runs at manager, so did gibbons. LETS BRING BUCK FOR A SECOND GO!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Ernie Whitt for Manager, Buck Martinez for GM and Pat Tabler for President and CEO. We would have the best looking, most muscular team in the league. Could you imagine how soft their hands would be?

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I think the Jays should hire George Knox as a manager...he'd be a great fit! http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pictures/tv.film/actors/Danny.Glover/Glover.gif http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lpp3zhDJwX1qj7n14o1_500.gif http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1y89x0xxU1qzz7nz.gif

shortstop Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 ha, Bautista would lead the league in being thrown out by the umps. When the time is right, whenever that is for Rogers, Jays should consider the brother of the only player inducted into the hall of fame as a blue jay...

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Sandy Alomar Jr. + Robbie bench coach?
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Sandy Alomar Jr. I think they interviewed Sandy when they hired Gibby and he didn't agree on some of there philosophy's.
TDotttt2005 Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 + Robbie bench coach? Sandy Sr. as bench coach.
Vincent Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Sandy Sr. as bench coach. None of the Alomar's would make good coaches/managers.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Moises Aluo ? Felipe Aluo bench coach and whoever is Edwin or milkeys hitting coach?
shortstop Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Mike Redmond...oh wait, he's with the Marlins
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I'm not sure about Robbie but I certainly wouldn't mind Sandy. If I'm not mistaken, Indian fans all love Sandy as a coach. If that ever happens Lawrie & Lind better take Spanish lessons in the off season.

abola2121 Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 What about Kevin Seitzer? If Gibbons goes, Seitzer's incentive for joining the Blue Jays will be gone unless he were to succeed Gibbons as manager.

If Chad Mottola was the hitting coach in 2014, the Blue Jays would of gone 162-0 and won the World Series.

reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Call me crazy but Ozzie Guillen would be a good fit with this type of team. He's had some controversies but he's proven he can win with the right team.

BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I think we should just manage by fan votes! Lol Imagine the marketing for days! 30 dollars a month and .50 cents a vote should get us that 250 million dollar payroll we need too! Lol f*** you Yankees!

Pure genius: "Who should the Jays bring in for the 8th inning?" And have a bunch of multiple choice answers that include bringing in Cecil only for Ortiz, etc. That would be interesting.
