wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 This is just becoming sad. In nearly two seasons this team is 139-151. Time to call it; they are a complete f***ing failure of a squad and AA/Beeston need to be fired.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Major League 2: Where the Blue Jays get robbed on the last day of the season when a Japanese outfielder stand on top of a wall to rob a home run and the Indians win a division That would happen
IBTrini Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 How many pitches was Stro at? 102...
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Pooh Drabek sighting. This will be fun to watch
kgm1 Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 he hits good enough for a good defensive catcher.... but he's not a good defensive catcher. still dont understand why the team didn't go get Martin when he was available. His track record is such that AA should have saw this . The Rays and dodgers got rid of him because he was Lazy and out of shape
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Time to stick a fork in this one, what's that 7 straight hits now?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Stroman's last 3 starts: 9 IP 0.2 IP 5 IP #Reliable Joe Morgan thinks the Jays should trade for someone more consistent who plays the game the right way
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 and that pretty much ends this game. sad... was hoping for them to show up tonight.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 5 and a fielders choice I guess...
kgm1 Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Pooh Drabek sighting. This will be fun to watch Might as well get him in there .
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 His track record is such that AA should have saw this . The Rays and dodgers got rid of him because he was Lazy and out of shape that's assuming that Alex Andhisfloppyass knows anything about baseball. rather large assumption at this point. just sayin.... lol
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Yep totally let down by a s***** defense led by our out of shape catcher. I think I was the only one who called this right from the start of the season. Navarro is too lazy and out of shape to be an MLB regular Sure, except that no one thought Navarro was a good defensive catcher, but kudos nonetheless.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Might as well get him in there . I want being sarcastic either, I'm genuinely interested to see if he's improved at all with his command or just benefitting from AAA hitters being s*****
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 There's a whole world of correct logic and reason in between the craziness of Joe Morgan, and the craziness of many on this board who think Stroman is reliable and should be our acenumberonechief pitcherer. But Joe Morgan's got that special brand of crazy that you can make fun of and not hate yourself for because it's not medical but it is f***ing hilarious.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 And the ump gives away a base... Just ... Wow
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Almost didn't get that right either.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 His crazy led him to the Hall of Fame and millions of dollars as a broadcaster. Your crazy has led you to a Blue Jays message board. Maybe you're embracing the wrong kind of crazy? You can build a Captain America'esque shield out of 1,000 dollar bills to guard yourself from the sarcastic barbs of know-it-alls on the interwebz if you have his kind of crazy. You can go into your basement and eat Cheetos purchased by your mom if you have your kind of crazy. #TeamChemistryfortheWinAlex Joke's on you, I don't have a basement.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Which makes it even crazier. Crazierier? Careful, we're approaching King-levels of crazy here.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 tldr K............... ................ meh, troglodyte
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 We've reached MLP gifs. This forum is done.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Stroman seems to be running out of gas. Either that or the defense isn't doing him any favours.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Just a quick observation, but Drabek still falls to the first base side of the bag, I don't know if that affects him, but IIRC this was an issue he had when he first got called up.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Lol @ Navarro's "framing"
Slugger Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 His track record is such that AA should have saw this . The Rays and dodgers got rid of him because he was Lazy and out of shape To be fair, he's an upgrade over JPA in every possible way. (Not saying much, I know.) He's actually performed higher than I anticipated. You guys want Victor Martinez circa '07, eh? Daaaaaaaamn, he was hot then.
bill Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Did you watch the game? The defense was atrocious. He did give up 10 hits and 5 ER not a good outing, that's two in a row. Opposing teams are learning how to hit him
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Reyes is a piece of s*** defensively.

Slugger Verified Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 You anticipated him being below replacement-level? Unfortunately, yes.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 lol at this game. lol at this team.
