jays76 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 If they threw in Longoria, Myers and Jennings as well Do you do the trade if they threw in Jennings and you subbed Hutch for Stro?

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 K! He just needed to get a few s***** outings out of the way, he probably got concerned that he was dominating too much and wanted to know how it felt.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Omg I thought Bautista dropped that... Flashbacks....

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Kid turned out to be half black. LOL.. Me ,myself and Irene?
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Strange how out of the Lansing trio of Sanchez, Syndergaard and Nicolin, Sanchez has beat them to the majors while Syndergaard and Nicolino have had mixed results.. Wat's strange about it? Sanchez has the best stuff of the 3 by far... it was only a question of control. Based on tonight, if the control is there, he is going to be dominant.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Nicely done Blue Jays, step on their throats tomorrow. And then Tampa can finish off the Red Sox's playoff hopes this weekend. They better start taking bids on Peavy, Uehara, Gomes, Drew, etc.
jays76 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Based on what? I know he's torn it up in the minors and it's not solely based on his 40.5 ERA major league debut but he always reminded me of Happ with his mechanics, height, being a lefty and minimal movement on his FB's. That beatdown just reinforced it for me, yup another potential Happ. I could totally be wrong about him but that's my personal intuition..
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 No Gatorade bath for Sanchez?

Based on tonight, if the control is there, he is going to be dominant. Everyone thought Syndergaard would be in the majors by now, not struggling with his command in Vegas and blocked by better arms like Montero, Niese, Gee and deGrom, and Matt Harvey next year.

Based on tonight, if the control is there, he is going to be dominant. Thor has plus control, has a chance to develop plus command with a fastball that touches 98 consistenly. Lets not shortchange the guy. We'll agree that Nicolino is third. Sanchez develops decent control, he'll be a star
