Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Why not save the pen? It may work out, but the pen isn't that taxed. Not saying bring in Janssen.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Damn Phoenix... they just stole Tyler Ennis from us. JA Happ's still out there? Crap! And yes Could go 8 full innings depending on how this next batter goes
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Happ showing that he's a stud... looking forward to see him perform like this against the Brew Crew
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I think McGowan needs an inning tonight to help build his confidence.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 What does this even mean? I was wondering the same thing.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Happ pumping 96 in the 8th.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Happ throwing 95 in the 8th after 120 pitches.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Gibbons makes really odd decisions, last night Hutch should have gotten another inning, tonight leaves happ in too long. How is this too long? He's throwing 96 and getting people out I presume you would have complained anyway if he HADN'T sent Happ back out. You seem like that kind of guy.
S33n Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 The Navarro almost inside the park home run! But he got thrown out going for it after Rivera waved him home thank you, I almost fell for it. Seriously got waved home? wow, things must've went way wrong.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Happ throwing 96 in the 8th inning? WTF is going on?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 120 pitches for Happ. Of course, there's an off day on Monday, so Gibbons can afford to push him.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Buck: Happ is beeg and stronggg
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Last batter for Happ either way obviously.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Hopefully, it's AA tampering with the radar gun to get some GM to trade him a 2B for him.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 thank you, I almost fell for it. Seriously got waved home? wow, things must've went way wrong. shouldn't have been a hit. it was a lazy fly ball to the warning track in left center and got dropped, then thrown around and Navarro was dead to rights playing the you cant get me game at home plate.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Happ is big and strong so no need to worry 'bout pitch count.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 Too bad. GREAT start Happ. Fantastic job.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Phoenix is getting panned for drafting Ennis, especially considering they already have Bledsoe. And Happ's out after 7 2/3.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Argh. Crappy ending for Happ. Great start though.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Damn. Oh well, great start from Happ.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Happ cant complain about getting pulled early today. His arm might fall off after this game, but he gave it everything.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 thank you, I almost fell for it. Seriously got waved home? wow, things must've went way wrong. . An average baserunner would have scored easily on the play. Was a bad call by Rivera sending him. The white Sox defense has been absolutely atrocious. Lots of other gaffes too including a bad throw by Moises Sierra.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 So where the UnHappy guys at? Happ has given the team some decent value out of the 5th spot.
