• Pitching prospect Aaron Sanchez started yesterday for the Buffalo Bisons (the Blue Jays' AAA affiliate) and once again struggled with command, his final line: 4.1 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 7 K. In 13.1 IP in Buffalo, Sanchez has 12 BB and 13 K.

Happ relies on fastball command, when he has it going, he looks like a decent 5th starter capable of going 6 innings, when he doesn't...he walks the ballpark and gets hit around. It's a flip of the coin with him, hopefully this is fastball command day because Jose Abreu and stuff.

The starter is even more pathetic though. Scott Carroll is the dictionary definition of "just a guy." We should be fine as long as Happ doesn't get lit up himself.

Looks like Sanchez was a lot better in his last start...only 3 hits and 1 run. Still needs to find his command but his stuff looks to be good otherwise.
