DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Jays FO babying Sanchez but not Stroman. f*** you Shark!! I wouldn't call it babying just different stages of development. I think we'd all be shocked if Sanchez wasn't in the majors in some capacity within 14months.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Keith Law on Stroman He's either a top-tier reliever, up in the Craig Kimbrel/Aroldis Chapman stratosphere, or a midrotation starter if he can keep the ball from leaving the park more than 25 to 30 times a year. f*** Keith Law. Does he even watch the games?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 nice to see a guy come up with attitude and stuff to back it up. Happ has attitude... Oh wait, I should have read the second part of the sentence.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 f*** Keith Law. Does he even watch the games? No. Too busy cooking and going to war against Fangraphs and anti-vaccination groups.

walkoff93 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Personally, I find it quite insulting as a fan, totally disrespectful to the sport. He won't last as long as he keeps that disgusting habit of chewing gum while he pitches. Tobacco's way worse. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hWvF-0c_GZY/U6jYPN_0XxI/AAAAAAAAH0Q/3pcS5-LTQl0/s1600/Stroman-Gum.gif
theblujay Verified Member Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 The gum chewing is awesome he just doesn't seem to give a f***. And really I don't care what his particular habits are I just care how he plays.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Why? Guy is stressed so gum helps him deal with that. It's a joke. Some guy in his first stint (when it looked like he was struggling) complained that he would never succeed as long as he kept chewing gum on the mound. I really don't care, he can do whatever he wants, specially if he's going to pitch like he is.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I wonder how many innings Stroman can end up with this year. I know Hutch is at a limit and so they may skip him a few times.

That's an interesting theory. One theory says don't let them pitch more than 100 pitches. Another theory says, they were healthier when they pitched longer. They could have stopped Stroman before 100 but they pushed him on twice in a row now.
