jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Well Deserved. I think everyone saw it coming once Sanchez was promoted to AAA.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Now this is a promotion we can all get behind. Don't think he could've dominated the FSL any more than he did.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 If he performs well at AA he's going to really jump up prospect lists. This is the big test for Norris.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Jesus... The Dunedin Jays are a bunch of world killers. 46-20 record so far. Damn
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 What website are you using to see this? You can sort all minor leaguers on Fangraphs: http://www.fangraphs.com/minorleaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=50&type=1&season=2014&team=0&players=0&sort=16,a Doesn't include MLBers, but you can reference that separately (Felix is second to Norris among all pitchers, 1.96 to 1.78).
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 Norris > Sanchez Sanchez was s*** in aa-ball. After 3 or 4 outing Norris will steal the Sanchez spot in our prospect list

Damn Taylor Cole. Time for him to be promoted as well.

admin Site Manager Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Norris > Sanchez Sanchez was s*** in aa-ball. After 3 or 4 outing Norris will steal the Sanchez spot in our prospect list I was going to say how long until Norris surpasses Sanchez and we forget about him.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Norris > Sanchez Sanchez was s*** in aa-ball. After 3 or 4 outing Norris will steal the Sanchez spot in our prospect list Norris has been in the Sanchez spot for me since the day he was drafted, I just couldn't justify it until a little while ago. If I were to make a list now though, both Norris and Hoffman would be above Sanchez for me.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Did the Mets give AA the choice of either Sanchez or Syndergard to go along with d'Arnaud, or did they specifically ask for Syndergard?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 Did the Mets give AA the choice of either Sanchez or Syndergard to go along with d'Arnaud, or did they specifically ask for Syndergard? The Mets aren't good scouting hitters, but...............they're very good scouting pitchers. I think the Mets asked for Noah since day 1.
fireballW Verified Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Great to see a pitcher in our org having some success. Getting guys like Stroman, Norris and Hutch in the rotation as useful pieces really makes it easier to go after the real top end guys in a few years when Dickey, M.B, Happ's and Morrow's money is off the books and clears us 40+ million dollars. It's sad that Drabek actually seems to have his control together but can't miss enough bats to be useful.

Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Norris > Sanchez Sanchez was s*** in aa-ball. After 3 or 4 outing Norris will steal the Sanchez spot in our prospect list As far as I'm concerned, Norris has already passed him. I have little faith in Sanchez and honestly expect him to be a major bust. You can't walk 5.5/9IP in AA and think this won't end in disaster. The stuff is amazing, the control negates all of that and more.

He won't fit in well with all of the Dominican party animals we have on the team now.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I hope he dominates like Hutch did and he comes up in september

Hope EE or Bautista aren't into pagan rituals to wake up their bats.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Why were we able to sign him so late again? Injury? Signability? I can't remember.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I thought Norris' van was just for driving around and stuff. He actually lives in it. Holy s*** I love this guy. Lol, he's the best. He's not getting much HR luck, his FIP is legit. 2.66 SIERA.
