DickeyJohnsonWang Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 could easily be 5 straight losses after today if not for pillar's fluke
bzapple Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Bye guys. It's over. Onto the Orioles, expecting a series loss. Thank god.
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Some of you should just jump off the bandwagon and we'll see you in a couple weeks.
DickeyJohnsonWang Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 We called this guy up..... why exactly? to bring him in in a 3 run game, to ensure that we have no chance to win.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Yet people here rip on those that jumped ship (to an albeit sinking ship itself). At least we don't jump on and off based on hot and cold bats. P.S. it's obvious that the Jays need to sign a Morales type guy as that will energize the pitchers
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 DFA Koreky again and again and again
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Pressure is on Baltimore, their starting pitching is not reliable and if they lose 3/4 they drop way back in the race. Let's revisit this next week, I doubt that Baltimore has the talent to sweep us, we have our best starting pitching lined up too. Funny thing is when we played Oakland, one of the critics like you said "if we sweep Oakland I'll start to believe". Funny because they probably thought the chances of sweeping Oakland were zero, and the fact is the chance they'd believe in the Jays is neglible until the day they clinch a playoff spot. Face it, you'll always expect bad things. Embrace it and cheer for another team. I hear the Rays need some new fans. You get happy and cheer when the Jays lose? What kind of fan is that? Apathetic?

Convo Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Really? Cause, uh... Yeah, no, you thought he was terrible. Said it out of frustration...
TheBoneCollector Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 An awful lot of bickering on this forum lol, holy crap.
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Even if we lose ugly today, it's way too soon to jump off the bandwagon. We were never going to be able to sustain the hitting we've had in the last month and a course correction was inevitable. The East is so poor this year we still have a really good chance of making the playoffs.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 At least we get to see a real offense....the twins....someone needs to be fire for the s*** we have to watch
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 They'll be fine in Baltimore. They just need to get on the road and relax. s*** snowballs pretty quickly when things start turning against you. I mean, look at Jansen the other night, Tolleson screws up a DP to end the game and Two bloop hits later the game is tied
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I feel bad for the people who spend their hard-earned money on this team.

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I feel bad for the people who spend their hard-earned money on this team. 39-28 after today and in the midst of a slump. Relax dude.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Said it out of frustration... Still said it, fairly argumentatively too, but it doesn't really matter since I'm getting the sense you've changed your mind
jays76 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Lol this forum has gotten really testy. The Jays have started to fall off the rails, I guess it was only a matter of time until the hitting slowed down. Now if only the Jays management can get a starter before it all goes in the shitter.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 They're officially struggling, expect BTS and company back soon. On another note, I don't get why Gibbons uses Delabar and Cecil down by 4 in the 8th inning yesterday, but goes with Korecky today. Just haven't been happy with his bullpen usage all year, but not blaming him for another loss. After all, can't win if you don't score.

Starting pitching has been pretty darn good. This offense is exactly like last year. Homerun or nothing.we neeed a guy who can hit the ball and get on base consistently
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I coach my son's Jr. T-Ball team and we got a game tonight, should be more exciting than this stinker.
wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Feel like an ******* even saying this, but when I suggested signing Drew and Morales a while back I was torn a new one. Wondering if anyone might have changed their minds at this point?

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Korecky: BABIP x2, walk, 3-runs double

Wondering if anyone might have changed their minds at this point? Who the f*** tore you a new one for signing Stephen Drew? like half the board wanted him
