NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Pillar bailed out all kinds of teammates on that hit: Janssen, Tolleson, Dickey and himself.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I think some people mistake "bipolar" for overly passionate. Bi polar is that DJBluray guy on the "other" board who can't tell his ass from his face. I think some mistake "overly passionate" for idiotic. Seriously guys, chill the f*** out.
venema20 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Pillar would have looked like an idiot if Kratz was thrown out at home. The guy is already jogging towards the mound before the play has even happened. Really just a brain dead play
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Pillar bailed out all kinds of teammates on that hit: Janssen, Tolleson, Dickey and himself. Why are you implying that Janssen pitched poorly? He induced weak contact on basically everything.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Yes I have. During their entire ten game losing streak, SoSH wasn't a fifth of the trash fest that this board is when someone messes up a play. I never heard them cuss out, belittle and wish ill on their players anywhere near as much as the people here do. It's a genuine disgrace. If this isn't the worst place ever when someone on the team f***s up, then its 2nd behind the morons at Orioles Hangout. People expect a perfect game, 9 gold glovers and a hit at every at-bat in every single game. They must have gotten a lot better. I just remember going over there to read their board when the lost. They would be going insane.

admin Site Manager Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Gose happy they saved his ass after his embarrassing bunt attempts.

Had that throw been more accurate, Kratz is out and Pillar is caught in a rundown.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 You guys are f***ing losers, straight up. Ya, cos expecting MORE from a guy who is 0-7 with RISP is out of the question? LMFROFLMAO

I was just shaking my head reading all of the reactions after Dickey gave up those 2 homers in the first. Then reading the stuff about Pillar... Then Gose... Just disgusting comments.
SantosLHalper21 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I would like you guys to lay off of Janssen..honestly how the f*** was it his fault? He induced the inning ending double play only to have dipshit Tolleson drop the ball..literally. He doesn't get Suzuki, however, if the ball was allowed to drop and Pillar kept it in front of him, the bloop hit by Escobar would mean nothing and he's likely not looking to hit opposite field. Really..Janssen gets screwed over by the defence on both his blown saves...if you can call them that.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Pillar's eyes are red as f*** lol
shortstop Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 wish the jays did the 'little' things more consistently like they did earlier in the season... ugh, watching the replay of the hit by pitch...brutal call

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Why are you implying that Janssen pitched poorly? He induced weak contact on basically everything. 3.71 xFIP. He allowed some fly balls and only struck out one of the six hitters he faced. Not bad, but not good enough to remove chance from the equation.

Bi polar is that DJBluray guy on the "other" board who can't tell his ass from his face. This is the biggest cop out ******** ever, and I hear Jays fans use this garbage every time they get called out. Saying "f***ing loser" and "f*** off Pillar" about a guy before the at-bat is even over? I don't know what you call that, but it sure as f*** isn't "passion". It's f***ing weird that people are even this emotionally invested in a sport in the first place, and beyond that, that they treat it like some sort of redneck abusive relationship. You are NOT going to get everything you want out of a baseball season, the best teams in the world will lose a third of their games, and even the best hitting performance in history would result in a batter failing at least 50% of the time. If people can't handle that, in a 162 game season, then they should give up and find a new sport, or ease the f*** up before they give themselves a heart attack.

People have the right to feel the way they want. You dont get to tell them how to emotionally react. its their emotions not yours. So you should move on with your life and stop criticizing others.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 To be honest, most of the fans here don't deserve to see a winning team, this fan base is a f***ing cess pool. I've read so many boards for other teams and I've never seen a more reactionary and more bipolar group of people in my life. It's f***ing insane how much the mood changes based on each pitch, each at-bat and each play. You guys need to chill the f*** out. It doesn't matter how good a team is, there's going to be highs and there's going to be lows, and if you can't handle those lows, then do yourself and your blood pressure a favor and turn off the game. Chappy and I say that almost every game. No team has won 162 yet but these guys think we should

People expect a perfect game, 9 gold glovers and a hit at every at-bat in every single game. I personally don't expect 9 gold glovers, but I do expect routine plays to be made, especially with 2 outs and the game on the line in the bottom of the ninth when the pitcher has done his job and induced the third out. Blowing a routine play like that is hard to swallow, especially when the team loses one game and gives themselves the chance to lose another a week later. Sure the timing amplifies it, but I just can't find an excuse for it no matter what way I look at it.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Gose OPS = .659 OPS is not a stat for evaluating Gose properly. He needs to have OBP and I don't give a f*** if its a drag or a dribbler he beats out or a liner. With his speed he can add base(s) later...and if he plays + D like he can, he is an extremely valuable asset.
