Probably Lowe this month, but pretty close

How long term?

 

Lowe is the 2-3 year option but Vaughn is the one of you aren't competing right now

Was waiting for this for a while after I traded Mahle for him and another pitcher in the off season... Probably will have rookie issues.. However, looking forward to be able to put him on my MLB roster even if he does get bombed..

I was offered Starling Marte and Ronny Mauricio for Alex Kirilloff in a 14 team dynasty.

 

Marte is a drop at the end of the year due to the cost to keep him but I am dead last in steals in that league right now.

 

What do you guys think? I'm leaning toward doing it.

My thinking is Kiriloff's stock will never be higher due to long term health and his hot start (which isn't necessarily backed up by his statcast data).

 

Marte basically shores up my steals better than anyone else I could realistically get for the rest of the year and I am a perpetual contender in this league.

 

Mauricio is a swing for the fences type of fantasy prospect with potential which I like in this format (14 team 5x5).

I guess part of it too is that it seems like OF always has serviceable guys on the waiver wire. I just picked up Lane Thomas on the waiver wire but Conforto who is up to ten dingers now is sitting there as are others that might not be THAT much worse than Kirillof.

 

Idk I don't love it but given what I need I might take it. Thanks for the feedback guys.

i'd grab conforto, his numbers only going to improve as he moves further from the long layoff

I'd take Hunter Brown. Normally I go with the hitter but Buxton's volatility is higher than a 24 year old pitcher's and like Laika said he's probably going to lose OF eligibility. They also don't let him steal as much as he's capable of either. He could get hurt any moment anyway.

If you wanted to counter to include 2024 Top 25-50 prospect Dylan Lesko, I would strongly consider it

A guy offered me: Moreno, A Smith Shawner, Y Cappe, a 1st a 2nd (Both from one of the best teams, so late picks in each round.)

 

For: C. Seager. A. Cobb, E. Phillips...

 

Seems like a little bit of a light return, what say you?

If that's just for Seager it still is probably a little light

 

Love AJ Smith-Shawver though, so I like that start
