The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Actually I think Arozarena > Robert. You should probably try to pawn him off on someone before his value falls off a cliff. Turning 26, never more then 13 HRs, 4% BB-rate. Looking like he's one of those tool guys that never materialized. His comparable right now is Ke'Bryan Hayes.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Robert = Arozarena. Only spot he's top 20 is in your head. That package for Springer is getting closer to fair. But the 2nd/3rd pieces should be better. I’ll agree Arozarena was light. Think Springer was overpay and I was cancelling it. Luckily he declined it
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 My Dynasty Bible does have Robert down to #30 now. Fair I guess. Hopefully the new rules get him back swiping bags and he stays healthy. Top 15 upside

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Arozarena is ranked 42, Roberts 43 respectively by BA Dynasty Rankings.

If only their interface was half as good as Yahoo Yahoo's garbage, you can't even comment in your leagues anymore, they gave up, amigo. Also, you should hang your fat head in shame on those offers, especially the former.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 H2H Dynasty I have Woodruff. Offer is Taj Bradley, Gavin Stone, Cade Horton or I could take only two of Harrison/Bradley/Stone So one deal I get three, other just two. I have space for lots of specs. I am leaning one way. What say you? If competing Woodruff the way to go. If in the middle or rebuilding. The 3 spects or Harrison/Stone seems pretty enticing Might be a little light either way though
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 A lot of people were surprised to see J-Rod listed as the #1 overall asset on many rankings. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s the face of baseball. Meanwhile, there were some much less heralded youngsters much further down the list, namely Riley Green and Jordan Walker. Each Wednesday, until it doesn’t make sense, I’ll just provide a little update here on how these exciting youngsters are doing and how they stack up: Walker .334/360/542 1hr 5rbi 1r 1sb Greene .348/400/565 1hr 1rbi 5r 1sb J-Rod .267/333/500 1hr 2rbi 7r 2sb All 3 out of the gate nice. Slight edge goes to Walker and Greene in the early going. Walker especially impressive only with 3 Ks so far and looking like he belongs. Look forward to seeing where it’s at next week

Riley Green did jack s*** last year. Walker has had a cup of coffee so far.

Riley Green did jack s*** last year. Walker has had a cup of coffee so far. It’s early. The apples to apples with Riley and JRod is CF/OF, about the same age, and pedigree. So it’s a fun watch. No debate who was better last year JW 1.5 years younger. So pretty crazy he’s there with them and will probably drop off. We’ll see

This is just some personal joy of my guys being better than yours. But all 3 are really interesting to follow in general. That’s all. I’m not going to make a spreadsheet for all the guys, if I was, Josh Jung would be included

FantasyNewb Verified Member Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I have Encarnacion-Strand and he was supposed to be my first baseman of the future, but I just got offered Taj Bradley for him. I'm weak at 1st base and P, and I don't know how to compare the two. Who would you take?

I'm weak at 1st base and P, and I don't know how to compare the two. Who would you take? Very tough CES is going to play in a great park. Tons of power. Tons of swing and miss and whiffs - might get exposed at the next level. Might be ROY candidate Bradley is going to pitch for an elite team in regards to pitcher development. He might only go 5 innings a night and be shuttled back and forth between AAA. Hitters > pitchers but Bradley seems safer Coin flip really
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I'd probably give the edge to Bradley since he has already debuted and the stuff clearly plays CES's low walk rates and moderate K rates make him seem sort of risky. Might be more of a .250/.300/.480 hitter or something like that.

I have the following pitchers on my roster: Lodolo, Painter, Bibee, McCullers, Montas, Roasny Contrares, Liberatore, Stone, Bobby Miller, Espino, Hence...along with some top closers (Bautista, Devin Williams, Bedner). On the 1st base side, I only have Strand, Kirilloff, and Soderstrom. Would you still do that trade considering I have a lot of high upside pitchers and 1st is sort of a question mark?
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I guess not. Kiriloff might be a bust and Soderstrom will probably only be playable at C

By far my weakest position. Thanks again.
