So you're just going to ignore what Bregman has done, it's superior to Moncada. Moncada has broken out by the way.

I liken Bregman to LeMahieu power wise. Take out the juiced ball and drop 15 HRs, decrease the batting average ect. Bregman is an average hitter with average power. His exit velocities are below average, his barrel rates terrible, his speed trash, hard hit% terrible, only pulls the ball as well. Numbers decreasing in general for him. I still see him dropping and Moncada rising.

Bregman was propped up by a the juiced ball and crappy stadium. I see him in the .260 20 HR range which i think is Moncadas floor. A bad time with covid set Moncada back, so now a year or so out from it he could breakout again. Lots of walks as well for Moncada

That's like, the mean projection for Moncada. Certainly not his floor dude.

That's fair, although I disagree. :P In the end I believe adding pieces for the trade wouldn't be wise, and stand pat with Moncada anyhow.

I do agree with you that Bregman is not looking super elite anymore

Do you agree Moncada's > Bregman? I have that the other way around easily.

Yeah Bregman projects better in basically every way. Moncada good in OBP leagues, he could be a top 10 3B easily in those.

Yikes. From who

BORED, through a series of deals, Moncada, Brandon Morrow, and a 3rd rounder netted me:

Juan Soto

Josh Bell

Corey Seager

Not naming names.

In the points league that I'm in, Bregman averaged 3.1/game and Moncada averaged 2.5/game. I don't think the production for either will change enough to close that gap? But what about Bregman and the injury risk? He had wrist surgery in the fall, but I don't know how serious it was.

You could also look at it as Bregman put up 3.1/game while injured...

I traded Soto for Moncada which ended up winning me my first of three BORED championships.

Awful trade but I remember distinctly Yoan Moncada won me a category on Sunday of the semi final. 2B eligibility. I knew nothing about prospects back then.

I held on to Moncada for so long because I couldn’t come to grips with moving on from him. Big time PTSD.

Moved him just before the draft this year for 1-7 (Khalil Watson) and Verlander to supplement my dinosaur rotation of Morton/Verlander/Strasburg/Greinke

Drew Rasmussen or Patrick Sandoval?

14 team dynasty, looking to slot one of them in with Cole, Mahle, Marquez, Musgrove, E-Rod, Eflin, Skubal, R. Suarez. 30 player rosters, 20 active.

Rasmussen. Im really big on him

14 team dynasty with a $300 salary cap.

I was offered Nate Pearson, John Means and a 2nd for Yu Darvish and Eovaldi. Darvish and Eovaldi are about 20 bucks more expensive than Pearson and Means.

I have no idea what to think of Pearson at this point.

I love Pearson and id think that package would equal Darvish

My team is in contention so I think I need to hang on to Yu and Eovaldi. At this point, it seems like Pearson might need to hit a little bit higher on his probability chart than we thought to even be as good as either Yu or Eovaldi.

I think I already know my answer. Just wanted some additional feedback.

30 Team Dynasty League H2H. Semien and Belt or Cronenworth and Taylor (multiple position Taylor LAD)

Semien/Belt

Cronenworth/Taylor are nice, but they don't have any shot of dropping a 40/100/100/15 season like Semien does.

Semien side if competing this year, for sure.

Cronenworth if rebuilding I guess. But even then I'd prob just trade Semien for younger guys.
