o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Wrong! Stroman has pitched plenty out of the bull pen . Jays turned him into a starter was out of the pen for Duke. BAPIP was a little cruel to him there.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Wrong....stroman has been a starter his whole career except his senior year at duke.....he is not a reliever His last year in College plus his stint in the AFL so he has plenty of experience as a reliever. He hasn't pitched well
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 He's pitched as a reliever in the low minors. Only the same year he was drafted

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Agreed. We just lack decorum. f*** decorum! And... pretty much anything that moves, depending on how much I've had to drink!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I can't figure out why the f*** Stroman is in the bullpen He's young and they've gotta take care of him.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I can't figure out why the f*** Stroman is in the bullpen some of the greatest starters ever started off in the pen. I think they know he is limited in how many innings he can throw this year and are easing him into the job. He will be in the rotation soon.

Could you explain to the board why Stroman would be limited, but not Hutchison?

It's not like we desperately need a couple quality starters tho...oh wait

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Could you explain to the board why Stroman would be limited, but not Hutchison? I'll bet Hutch is, but they dont have anyone else and will probably have to use someone from AAA at the end of the year. Gibbons can spin the no limit non sense about Hutch, but it's not likely he goes 200 innings this year.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Minding the results, how has Stroman looked? I'm thinking pretty good, maybe capable of being a 4-5 starter.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It's not like we desperately need a couple quality starters tho...oh wait I'm pretty sure that teams still go by the 20% innings increase system. It's not a hard cut rule, but it's like the 100 pitch concept and teams are afraid to go much more.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Seems like it takes a miracle for Stroman to get an out.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Francisco and lind dont need to play in the field
OtisNixonFan Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 What a clusterf*** this team is... All hands using shifts and positioning to limit hits and we don't have a f***ing clue.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Seems like it takes a miracle for Stroman to get an out. Defense didn't do him any favors there.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Stroman as a reliever looks like a good idea now.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Minding the results, how has Stroman looked? I'm thinking pretty good, maybe capable of being a 4-5 starter. Im guess 3-4 but hard to tell until they let him start
