Jays: McGowan allowed 10 runs in 6.2 innings in his first two home starts before yielding two runs in five innings without a decision in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Angels at Rogers Centre. Francisco is 3 for 4 with four RBIs in the last two games, and 4 for 9 against the Indians this season. Lind is 4 for 9 in the last three games after he went 1 for 9 with a home run in his first three contests since coming off the disabled list. Jose Reyes tripled during the fourth inning of his club's 5-4 victory over the Indians on Tuesday night. It was his first triple in a Blue Jays uniform and his first since Oct. 2, 2012. He has reached base in 11 consecutive games and 11 of his 20 hits this season have gone for extra bases. Indians: Kluber gave up five runs and nine hits in 6.2 innings of a 5-0 home defeat to Toronto on April 19, but he's 2-1 with a 1.91 ERA and 38 strikeouts in four starts since. He yielded three runs over the last two outings, including two with nine strikeouts in 6.2 innings of a 6-3 victory at Tampa Bay on Friday. Mike Aviles has filled in nicely for Cleveland since All-Star second baseman Jason Kipnis landed on the disabled list with a strained left oblique. Entering Wednesday, Aviles was hitting .417 (15/36) with four extra-base hits, five RBIs and six runs through 10 games in Kipnis' absence. BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Good Dusty! better question is which bats show up tonight?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Happy to watch baseball again How was your trip?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 How was your trip? Excellent, better than expected. My Canadian skin took a beating though.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Frigging Jamie Campbell... Pre game he says "they've used three option on Jenkins this year..." Um no they haven't. Just 1 option is used and he can be bussed back and forth to Buffalo as many times as they want in the year and use nothing but 1 option.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 It's time for mcgowan to go deeper in a game.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 It's time for mcgowan to go deeper in a game. Would be nice for him to give us 7 innings, doubt it though. 7 pitches, 2 outs
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Would have liked fewer than 6 pitches for that AB, but really nice finishing pitch.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Other than Bautista we hit the ball hard....keep that up and we can score some runs tonight.
