You're talking about very small sample sizes. The smaller the sample size the larger the margin of error...regardless....Goins has a .203 OBP. He needs regular at bats. He needs to work on things. He can't do the things he needs to do in the majors to become a better player for the long term. Short tem Getz adds a speed element that is lacking with the Jays. He's a better bat right now and his defense isn't bad either. It's a shame Izzy went down, but I don't know how you can say sending goins down is the wrong move. It's Getz tomorrow could be Kawa soon..but goins is where he needs to be.

You can either have goins be a crappy offensive player for his entire career or you can send him down now while there's still a chance for development and let him work to become a better offensive player to become a better mlb player. Getz can be a worse player and it's the right move....you're completely missing the point. Short term pain for long term gain.
