wut... No lol you can still be smart on the bases.

If you can barely make it around the bases that makes you a bad baserunner, not being a guarantee to score from second on a double or go 1st to 3rd on a single the other way makes you a bad baserunner, you're not helping the team score runs.

Man it's so depressing what Morrow could be and watching him do this crap start after start.

That should be obvious.

Why? You don't take a strike that you can drive.

Well the bottom line was he couldn't drive it effectively. The pitcher was out there for a long time and was struggling. You already have two outs but you still have a runner on base so there is really no pressure looking at some pitches especially as the ump is keeping a tight strike zone. Anyway, that's just my opinion. ;)

The good news is that Morrow is efficiently walking people. No prolonged ABs, or lots of full counts and battles with foul balls (only 4 strikes thrown in those BB PAs) ... 31 pitches while walking 4 through 2 innings. That's impressive.

Did you have a finger in your ass when you typed this? Because that would be impressive.

LOL, 2 DPs will do that.

Lol what. 4 walks is not good.

Don't you just love it when complete retards take shots at saber, when it really just further reinforces they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about?

He makes great choices from what I've seen. He runs fine for his size and the position he plays. Calling him a bad base runner is actually retarded.

What is this I don't even...

He makes "great choices" because he literally can't move up without being out by a mile, how do you not see this?

Bonifacio was the worst baserunner on the team last year... the fastest but so bad at reading the situation that he usually got himself out. Navaro may have only made it to first but he was SAFE at first and that's all I care about.

Man has Reyes ever lost some pile of speed he's always been a guy to hustle, he must be taking it easy with that hammy.

Before today

Prior to today he was striking people out and not walking many, all while getting a lot of groundballs.

In this game he's walked 4 and struck out none, do you perhaps see the difference?

Don't you love it when complete *******s try to boost their egos, but really just expose themselves as dumb?

I'm saying that I think he hasn't pitched well so far this season, when saber stats disagree. Today would agree with me

Navarro couldn't pull this off if the ball had been sent to the backstop.

If the pitcher is on the ropes and struggling with fastball command, he'll likely try to throw one right down the pipe, that's the pitch he looked for, and the pitch he got, unfortunately it wasn't effective, but nothing wrong with that approach.

I understand where you are coming from however if he does throw one down the pipe on the first what do you think will happen next? Another one down the pipe or throw more outside the strike zone? In the mean time the pitch counts keeps climbing and you saw more of his repertoire. Anyway, I am just arm-chairing here.
