On a positive note, has Melky had an at bat yet where he hasn't absolutely hammered a ball in to play?

I thought we're out of challenges?

The Rasmus play review was initiated by the umpires, not Gibbons

Wrong, he dropped nerve gas on a city full of civilians, not extremists. Secondly, you can't say, "well look what the US did" because I will say as well that the US used despicable gunboat diplomacy, but technically the Kurds were still Iraqi citizens. His army went and killed denominations, giving people seats in office doesn't justify that, even when those people are fighting back against a repressive governement. You're victim blaming here.

Why exactly did Iraq get the sanctions put on them I wonder?

Either way I'm sensing some underlying Stockholm syndrome here.

1. I didn't say extremists did i? Exact quote "Iran backed the Kurds and they demanded invasion of land." The dude hit the Kurdish "rebellion". No extremists, but the people backing the Kurds in the north IIRC

2. I'm blaming rebels that wanted to separate with backing from a war enemy. Who are the victims? In the Iraqi eyes whoever is backed by Iran are enemies, and who were the Kurds backed by and pushed to start a 'civil war' (didn't get to that point)? None other than Iran. The Kurds tried to find a weakness by attacking Iraq during a war. I'm not saying gassing them is right (I was merely pointing to the fact that the West is as dirty too), I'm saying the idea of stifling them was correct. I'm an Iraqi at heart and I don't want to see my homeland taken.

3. Kuwait war, which as I highlighted earlier, was probably Saddam's biggest mistake.

Nope, you're just looking from one aspect of things. You can't just look at an attack from Saddam and say he's completely wrong without seeing what happened there in the first place
