o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 lol that wasn't even fair have to hope that KS has some drills that can help Goins recognize pitches
Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 No room for Drew right Buck? Lol He just doesn't "fit" with this team. ugh
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Lol Diaz approach is sooo much better than Goins. Obviously both below replacement but at least Diaz might be able to draw a walk here or there compared to the hacker
Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Was such a thing actually said? yes

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 1. Halabja Gas Attack was part of the Iraq-Iran war. Iran backed the Kurds and they demanded invasion of land. Sure, gas was not to be used, but look at the f***ing US and their high impact missiles. Hell, the f***ing gassing was backed by Amercia according to Wikileaks. You think, especially with how Saddam gave Kurdish people their own government and seats in the parliament in the first time in history, he was going to back down from an internal invasion? 2. Yes. He killed the extremest from both the Sunnis and the Shi'its. The Shi'its were killed more during the Iran war because of Iran's big Shi'ite population and they are the Shi'ite base essentially, and they also backed Iran AGAINST THEIR OWN COUNTRY. Extremism was not allowed in our country from any religion. 3. Nope. Not until the UN sanctions came in. Before Iraqi people were free to leave. Hell my parents travelled quite a bit before the UN sanctions hit the country Wrong, he dropped nerve gas on a city full of civilians, not extremists. Secondly, you can't say, "well look what the US did" because I will say as well that the US used despicable gunboat diplomacy, but technically the Kurds were still Iraqi citizens. His army went and killed denominations, giving people seats in office doesn't justify that, even when those people are fighting back against a repressive governement. You're victim blaming here. Why exactly did Iraq get the sanctions put on them I wonder? Either way I'm sensing some underlying Stockholm syndrome.
