Please help an old poster.

Hello all. It's been a while since I have posted on this but have been reading some of the more interesting posts. To make a long story short I just want to see the box score from today's game but I don't want to pay MLB to see it. Is there anywhere I can view it? Yes I have tried TSN, SN and others and all keep bouncing me back to mlb.com.

You use mlb.com's gameday to see the box score and follow the game for free.

Thank you and BTS but I have an IPad and it keeps prompting me to join "at bat". Now I know this is going to sound like I am really cheap but I already spent in excess of 140 a month for cable. I can't believe mlb.com wants even the measly 2.99 month to see box scores.

But Thanks again anyway. Guess I will just wait until tomorrow.

There's an option to skip buying at bat and just go to mlb.com. I do it on the iPad all the time

You need to click on the box at the top right hand corner that says "don't show this again". Then on the left hand side click on "Go to MLB.com". Problem solved.

While I do understand your not wanting to pay for just the box scores, MLB.com audio gives you the audio for all the games for all the teams. $22.00 well spent for me anyway.

Isn't there a free version of atbat? There was last year. I'm going to jump on my lady's iPad and see if I can help you out.

 

Though it's not here...but I'm sure you have the option of using a free version with no audio.

If you follow the directions I posted you can go to it directly and you only have to go through clicking on that box once unless you clear you're browser. No need to have to go through other routes.

Weird, it should have been on the top right hand side. I am on my iPad right now and can see it. Anyways, if you do find it you will only have to click it once and it will go away.

I just wanted to thank all of you that helped me with this somewhat simple question to most. I recently got an iPad and still having going through a few learning curves, so sorry if my question seemed to be ignorant to most. Although I did not participate much, I used to be on the old site. It's nice to recognize most of the users from the old site. I do remember a few that felt the need to resort to childish name-calling and/or smart ass innuendo when they don't agree with others opinion. It's a shame really that some people just take longer to mature than others.

In addition thank you to those who tried to moderate those but I am a big boy and can take care of myself as you will find out soon.
