  1. Fatcox. I just wanted to say a very genuine thank you for the efforts that you contribute on this forum. I always look forward to your GDT and the stats you summarize and applaud your efforts. Now I don't want to sound my my nagging, complaining girlfriend who is almost impossible to please, but if you could also include the bench players might help me /us play manager a little more as we know how we all love to bitch about our manager. Just wondering how and why is your status BANNED? Thanks again.....Steve.
  2. I haven't given up on McGowan yet I just like her idea. We could start Loup for one inning and bring Dustin in the 2nd. Dustin is really the starter and even if the opponent makes one lineup change because of it then what's the harm? Yes it would piss off the rest of the league but at least it would be something new.
  3. I don't post often fearing getting slammed by the usuals on here but I think this is a great idea, considering what we have to work with. Get both ready to start on that day and depending upon opponent... You could even take it a step farther. Let's say Rodgers hasn't pitched for a while. Start him and in 2nd bring in Happ for three and see how he does. I know this sounds a little crazy, probably will not sit well if sportsmanship or common courtesy is concerned but it would make for some interesting banter? If Happ or whoever gets a slight advantage L/R split, then you can save McGowan and possibly even give our next starters a rest? OK let me have it but try to be nice.
  4. I don't know if this will help many, and no idea which games they show but MLB.com is having a free preview on Rogers channel 21 in Toronto.
  5. Good on you terminator. Perhaps if all acted mature we might actually enjoy the company of some women on here?
  6. I just wanted to thank all of you that helped me with this somewhat simple question to most. I recently got an iPad and still having going through a few learning curves, so sorry if my question seemed to be ignorant to most. Although I did not participate much, I used to be on the old site. It's nice to recognize most of the users from the old site. I do remember a few that felt the need to resort to childish name-calling and/or smart ass innuendo when they don't agree with others opinion. It's a shame really that some people just take longer to mature than others. In addition thank you to those who tried to moderate those but I am a big boy and can take care of myself as you will find out soon.
  7. Thank you also Chappy. Although I can't see the "don't show me this again" I simply went to top left MLB.com and it worked as well.
  8. Thank you John. I went to mlb.com through Google and it works. I should have thought of it myself.
  9. Thank you John and chappy. Will give it a shot.
  10. Thanks so much North.
  11. Thank you and BTS but I have an IPad and it keeps prompting me to join "at bat". Now I know this is going to sound like I am really cheap but I already spent in excess of 140 a month for cable. I can't believe mlb.com wants even the measly 2.99 month to see box scores. But Thanks again anyway. Guess I will just wait until tomorrow.
  12. Hello all. It's been a while since I have posted on this but have been reading some of the more interesting posts. To make a long story short I just want to see the box score from today's game but I don't want to pay MLB to see it. Is there anywhere I can view it? Yes I have tried TSN, SN and others and all keep bouncing me back to mlb.com. Thanks in advance for your attention.
