one for all Jays games? Won't that get too busy at the end?

I agree that each game deserves its own thread. Just go ahead with a GDT for each game individually.

There's a significant chance that the best part of this season is Lind's facial hair.

Drabek and Hutch have matching facial hair going too. I guess they're really close friends now after rehabbing together for the past year

If it does, then start a second when the time comes. I don't think we'll be seeing hundreds of pages a game though, at least not until the mtl games.

Ah, now I see your point, there won't be much activity on them anyways. I get that, but I much rather prefer doing daily ones though, thanks for the suggestion!

I'll just use my usual GDT templates then, I thought I was going to use the heavy picture format for actual games, but ST games are fine too :P

What portion of last season's Red Sox success was beard-related? Has that been determined yet?

Upcoming pitching schedule

Sanchez relegated

Thank you, much needed for future GDTs!

Any T.V tomorrow?

Radio + MLB.tv (possible stream link from Charlie, if I find another one I'll post that too)

Can he play 2B?

McGriff was f***ing awesome. I can understand why people were (initially) upset that he was traded.

I think there's a very good chance that Sanchez's value is at its peak. I mean, you can say that for most prospects in AA, but with Sanchez the results just haven't matched the stuff. IMO selling him for major league talent to a team that's drooling over the raw stuff would have been the most efficient use of this resource. I'd still love to see Sanchez + for Samardzija followed by an extension.

Yeah but.............I would trade Stroman over Sanchez.

The HS kids (Noah, Sanchez, Comer, Brentz, Norris, Musgrove) are a very risky bet and potentially huge benefit, but with Jays pick 9th and 11th I prefer college guys (McGuire, Jenkins, Stilson, Dyson), though his ceiling is lower.

I wouldn't. The Stroman/Sanchez debate is a lot like last year's Sanchez/Syndergaard debate. Guy with better stuff, no control, and no results vs. a guy with great control, great results, and still pretty great stuff. A year later and Sanchez hasn't progressed at all.

The deck that everyone uses -----> Stroman size.

Long term, Aaron is your guy.

Got to watch Sanchez today. He was throwing hard 95-96 but didn't seem to have great command of the strike zone yet. Anyway nice guy, got his sig after the game!

Yeah, pitchers can have great stuff sure, and doesn't always match the results. You can have hope for guys like that in A-Ball, but it's time to start seeing some damn improvement that shows up in the stat lines, especially K and BB%

McGruff was my dawg ... pun intended. Seriously, I'm still bitter about that trade despite what transpired for the team thereafter. I screwed up my swing something fierce trying to emulate him. Those were the days ... McGriff, Bell, Barfield, Fernandez.

At least you didn't try to emulate Ripkin at the plate.

Stroman secretly from Cuba or something?

Or even worse: Brazilian.

I love Brazilian

Hell yeah! The crime dog was one of my first truly favorite players, and I loved bell and Fernandez to. But man, Fred McGriff was the s***. I still remember a home run he hit that landed about 10 seats from me, wanted that ball so bad!

I remember the trade. I was more upset about Fernandez though as we had Olerud to replace McGriff at first. Manny Lee wasnt quite the replacement at short.

Fernandez should of been a Jay for life.
