The tweet after saying his heart goes out to him etc... is pretty bad. If Washington sexually assaulted a woman reporter Washington should go to jail and nobody should feel sorry for him or have their heart go out to him. Sexual assault is right up there with domestic violence and probably worse.

That team is becoming more and more interesting. Their outfield is fantastic (Yelich quietly approaching a 5 WAR season at age 22) and their pitching is looking pretty solid. Cosart was a nice pickup and has pitched well down the stretch for them. Their infield does need some work though, and also I wish they would ditch the neon orange jerseys.

Yeah right.. free agents will choose teams that are championship or up and coming contenders(Tigers, Angels, Mariners, Nats, O's, Dodgers, Giants, Yankees, Cubs, White Sox, etc), not this Red Sox team which is projected to finish last again, and really needs a rebuild, especially with David Ortiz expected to retire in the next few years, and no suitable replacement in the system(not Mookie Betts, as he's a leadoff guy, not a #3-#4 hitter)

I,m skeptical of this. He addressed the drug issue stating it wasn't that and that it was a family matter. The team wanted him to just take a leave of absence as they want him to come back.
