Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Also, if you thought the Satnton HR was long, look at Salty's. Absolutely mammoth!! http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2014_04_18_seamlb_miamlb_1&mode=video&content_id=32185313&tcid=vpp_copy_32185313#/play?content_id=32178319 Edit: I can never get the links right. Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Just saw the transfer call from the Mariners game. How frustrating
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Anyone tuning into the dbacks/dodgers game? 2-2 bottom of the 10th, 1 on for dodgers, 2 outs
S33n Verified Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Yes. Why are Dodgers games always so good?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Yes. Why are Dodgers games always so good? I've been enjoying the extra innings games lately. I'm up anyways, nice to have them on in the background Going to 12!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Huge 2 run single for Hill, dbacks up 4-2!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Holy s*** this is an interesting infographic:
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Weird coincidence. Very. 3 stats, although cherry picked, the exact same value on their 31st birthday
Eragon Verified Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Very. 3 stats, although cherry picked, the exact same value on their 31st birthday I'll take Hank any day... Miguel is fat and slow, stats won't compare in 5+ years.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I'll take Hank any day... Miguel is fat and slow, stats won't compare in 5+ years. Idk about that but Hank Aaron dispute what Anemic thinks is a treasure
flafson Verified Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Can't believe that Miguel is only 31, he looks much older than that.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Can't believe that Miguel is only 31, he looks much older than that. Alcoholism and Obesity will do that.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Bryce Harper was taken out of the game because he didn't hustle to first base
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Rangers #4 prospect Luis Sardinas has been called up because of Jim Adduci going on the DL. But aren't they rushing him?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 True. Just doesn't make sense. Problem is, they'd have to DFA someone to get someone like Lillibridge or Rosales on the roster, and their farm isn't that strong in AAA.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Holy s*** this is an interesting infographic: Honestly I'm shocked that Aaron was that good at that age
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Very premature, he's been s*** at AA. meh...his future was and is in his D and speed. Not like that needs that much maturity.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Not sure if this was posted. Delino Jr. after getting hit with a fastball
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Not sure if this was posted. Delino Jr. after getting hit with a fastball Is the ball in his mouth?
8D Verified Member Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Not sure if this was posted. Delino Jr. after getting hit with a fastball holy f***. that's no exaggeration. edit: btw, a guy the jays loved and was heavily rumored to take first in the '10 draft. but i remember like a week prior to the draft, media reports, especially from toronto were all over how the jays love this guy. i think cito openned his mouth saying all the rumors were true about it, lol. then astros go out and pick him very early - earlier than they were planning when they heard other teams were interested in him as much as them.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Nova getting rocked again. Nothing wrong with that!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Nova getting rocked again. Nothing wrong with that! Nova could have a serious injury in his throwing arm, looks like shoulder.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Nova could have a serious injury in his throwing arm, looks like shoulder. Ah s***, you're right. pulled in the 5th after giving up 4HR and allowing 8 runs. Wonder how serious?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Oh boy.. that could be devastating for the Yankees, who have little depth beyond 4 of their starters (Tanaka, Pineda, and an aging/declining Kuroda & Sabathia). Warren and Phelps are needed in their thin bullpen, and Nuno got lit up in his last appearance (7ER vs. Baltimore last time, and hasn't pitched in 11 days. Why isn't he in AAA??). And don't ask for help in SWB.. most of their starters are minors vets like Billings, Gordon, Leroux, and non-prospects Cotham, Whitley and Stoneburner. Banuelos, BTW, is still rehabbing from TJS.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 14-1 Rays. Didn't the Jays have a few of these games last year?
