jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Put $50 on the Eagles to win. Might add more later on.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Well… I know Boxy is a happy man. With the win of course and that call at the end
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 lmao what a s***** sport Don’t worry, mate. They’ll figure out how to make it sabr friendly
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Yeah I'm sure the meathead fans enjoyed watching nothing happen for the last two minutes of the Superbowl haha
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Not sure you make that call for holding at that point in the game. The game was great up to that point. Last two minutes felt disappointing. Late flag as well. Philly was the better team IMO, but that fumble in the first half hurt and also allowing that punt return in the second half. Lead to two easy touchdowns. KC capitalized. Mahomes was alright but he even threw under 200 yards. Sucks to see the game be decided on a 3rd down penalty call that looked questionable, but oh well.

Yeah, it was a pretty clean game. I don’t think you call that but I’m sure they’re worried about not calling something and dealing with that. Lousy way to decide the game though. Pretty sure most people can agree to that
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 What a game, loved it. Yeah I think most saw it was a great movie with a bad ending
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Yeah I think most saw it was a great movie with a bad ending Clown, that's fine, real love, is real.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Clown, that's fine, real love, is real. Well, you made it until the end at least
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 What a game, loved it. Ending sucked but yeah otherwise leading up to that 3rd down flag, was a terrific game. Entertaining for sure.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Lost out on my Philly $50 bet moneyline and $10 parlay (moneyline, score first and lead at half). Decided betting in-game on kickoffs - can bet either for a touchback or no touchback. Bet for touchbacks every kickoff. Odds were like -300 or -400 majority of the time. Started doing some $50 bets and then $100 bets afterwards. Was making like $20-25 each time. Think I made close to $200 just doing that on Bet 365 haha.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 No comments on the most important part of the game? Half time show sucked
TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 The NFL is 30% talent and 70% coaching. The better coached team won last night.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 No comments on the most important part of the game? Half time show sucked Yeah. Bad timing cause she's pregnant again for the second time in 18 months apparently. And it kinda sounded like she didn't really want to do it anyway despite agreeing to. Add it all up and you get a boring low energy show clearly lipsynched with studio vocals playing. It sucked.

Most women on social media loved the halftime show lol. But agree with everything else you said.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Great 3 months, lose World series and Super Bowl Got there though. Nobody cares who finishes second, but it’s rewarding for the fans to at least make it to the end
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Great 3 months, lose World series and Super Bowl I read their MLS team also lost the Championship. It would be sad (hilarious) if the 76ers completed the sweep.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 I couldn't care less about the sixers and yes the Union lost also, thanks for the reminder I think it would be hilarious to see all 4 major sports teams in Philly lose in the finals this year. And not because I hate Philly or anything at all - just because I doubt that happens often at all (or ever?)

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Well… I know Boxy is a happy man. With the win of course and that call at the end The worst part about this were Travis Kelce's inevitable "no one expected us to be here" comments, despite being top 3 in Superbowl odds from day one, Mahomes winning MVP (????) and the fellating Mahomes receives. He has the easiest job of any QB in the game. He has maybe the best playcaller in the history of the sport scheming wide open guys, a top 3 OL, the best or second best receiving TE ever and never has to make a difficult throw. So after watching Mahomes dink and dunk all game for under 200 yards to wide open guys, people come away saying he's magical. Wtf is so magical about throwing a 2 yard pass to a guy with no one in the same area code for a TD, twice? Mahomes is good. He is being overrated like hell, though. And f*** Chief fans, the team and Brittany Mahomes.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 And f*** Chief fans, the team and Brittany Mahomes. You forgot Jackson
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Boxy's ass is still ripe, lmao.
