Not a great first game for Goins, but what did we expect vs. Price? Looks like he might be playing some SS with Reyes out unless they want to keep him at 2B for some reason. I'm interested to see how his D is at SS

The difference between Edwin and Goins is that Edwin is good at baseball and Goins is not. If Edwin starts 0-7 nobody cares because he has a track record. When Goins starts 0-7 without managing to get the ball out of the infield it's an eye-roll moment, because it's more of the same. He was bad in the minors, bad in the majors last year, bad in spring, and bad in 7 plate appearances this year. He's a bad hitter, who shouldn't be playing everyday. That's based on his entire body of work, not just 7 plate appearances.
