f*** this team

Go on a roll in September and fall out of protected draft pick slot, why don't u?

This is why we needed Ricky

Cause Morrow came back late last year and won like 5 games and cost us 2-3 spots in the draft. f***er.

This team can't even tank properly. JPA getting under the Mendoza line is the only thing I have to look forward to.

We're now in 13th a win shy of 14th. Here's my tentative mock in this scenario.

1. Houston .326 Carlos Rodon

4. Chicago C .420 - Tyler Kolek

5. Milwaukee .428 - Alex Jackson

6. Minnesota .445 - Tyler Beede

7. San Francisco .445 - Michael Cederoth

8. San Diego .445 - Nick Gordon

9. Seattle .449 - Michael Gettys

10. New York M .453 - Touki Toussaint

11. Toronto (Comp) Sean Reid-Foley

12. Philadelphia .453 - Derek Hill

13. Toronto .460 - Grant Holmes

Whoever didnt see the inevitable septemeber push for 14th coming is delusional. Can't wait for the classic bs about how this team will carry the momentum over till next year.

smh. we shouldn't have let Boni go.

I could really care less about the SS, but boni has almost matched his SB and W totals as a Royal already. Really cant stand the guy

Currently we are 10th in the draft.

Who wants to bet we go on a run in the last few weeks and drop to the high teens. AA takes a positive spin on it saying we're hitting our stride for next year, and probably won't make too many moves!

Posted this a month aago.

Tanking is for losers, especially in baseball where the draft is such a crap shoot anyways. Tanking might hurt their chances of getting quality free agents. The only thing worse then tanking would be trading away all their veterans one year into a three year plan. Another favorite idea on this forum LOL.

One thing to note is how our defence has improved with the youngsters playing, which has caused our pitching to improve. If we can upgrade defensively this off season, mainly behind the plate, we might not even need a drastic over haul of the pitching staff.

Ps I actually watched last night and saw JP try to block a ball, he looked like an 11 year old in little league...and he tried throwing a guy out at 2nd on a steal (at least not from his knees) and he looked like a 7 year old. I have no doubt that I could do a better job throwing to 2nd and I'm in my mid thirties. I know my arm is better then his.

If they finish top 10, it will actually improve our chances of going for a top free agent, because we won't have to give up our first round draft pick.

Think before you say something stupid

Well, it's not exactly that simple.

Let's say you're Brian McCann and the Blue Jays are offering you 10% more than your next highest bidder (The Yankees or Braves), after taxes. You value getting paid, but you also value winning. Would it sway your opinion of signing if the Blue Jays won 81 games this year as opposed to, say, 70 games? I think there's a chance that it could.

Aside from that, I'd feel better about this group in 2014 if some of the individual players could turn it around and have a strong September.

You have a point too though.

If the Jays are going to win in September, I'd want to see them do it on the basis of strong performances by guys like Lawrie and Dickey. I don't want to see them win because shitbags like Sierra, Rogers, and Goins get hot for one month.

You have absolutely no big picture thinking in your make up. Every single thing you post is immediate and short sighted, suggesting your whole decision making process is short term and lacks vision. Have you really no idea that you are like this ? It's quite obvious to almost anyone who reads a days worth of posts from you.

And seriously, you really need to stop saying I'm stupid or retarded. Here's the reality. I would wager $10,000 straight up on an IQ test winner take all without hesitation, and smoke your ass with ease. Go ahead, tell me honestly what your education level is, I'm curious. Who is this guy who posts like he's 15 years old and seems to have a serious case of a.d.d. ?

At least if you just came out and admitted your whole act is to be the site's troll, I'd give you some credit. But you seem to truly believe the s*** you post, which is astonishing really its some of the dumbest s*** I've read in years on any forum any topic.

Quoted for posterity. I really want to see this happen.

I would pay to see this happen. King's only in high school (I think) and still think I would have to take him in that wager.:P

BNS is a good writer.

I was talking about the people voting on the polls, who are bikes.

BNS is a pretty damn good writer, great job by SN picking him up.
