o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Most of the "over rated" falls squarely on the underperforming shoulders of Josh Johnson R A Dickey Brett Lawrie there is lots of blame to go around. it would be easier to point out who isn't f***ing the dog this year.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Still think it's too early, he's one bad month from being at the bottom of the barrel again. LOL No one goes from bad to good and back again so quickly
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 What's next? JPA multi year extension? Hey, I knew this would come in handy again! http://i.imgur.com/d4EmRJv.gif

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Do you really blame Buehrle for speaking his mind? Put yourself in his shoes, surrounded by a bunch of clowns who think they are the best players in the MLB, flashing they stupid signs when they get on base and flexing their muscles when they hit a home run. And that's when they are losing the games, how embarrassing is it to be part of that joke of a team? I blame Gibbons for being a pussy and allowing that crap to go on. Bring some seriousness to this team, they are suppose to be professional MLB players, they are acting like t-ball little league players and many times they are showing their ignorance of basic baseball fundamentals and making blunders.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 It's about time someone said the truth. Funny thing is, pre-season Buehrle said this team was even better than the one he was on that won the WS with the Chisox. So he's part of the problem.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Buehrle also said during the winning streak that they were getting lots of breaks.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Dickey agrees with Buehrle and some of us here: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/rays-sweep-blue-jays-spoil-delgados-induction/
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Hard to not like that man even after his poor outings. It certainly is. I refuse to get mad at him for the trade like others do even though I share their frustration and disappointment in his performance. I've also come to like Buehrle for the way he handles himself and how accountable he is about his performances and again, despite my disagreement with management's decisions this past offseason.
8D Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 lmao. even now our two "best" pitchers think the team was over rated. what type of message does that send throughout? FO should take note. Start tanking the rest of the way.

8D Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I doubt they'll concede any time in the near future. Maybe when the Jays are mathematically out of it they'll admit defeat this season.
GNick Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 We should put Buehrle on waivers? Another team may get desperate? Rosenthal was on FAN590 today saying not much available at this year's trade deadline. A few years ago we put Rios on waivers when everybody said no team would touch that contract...but there was one who did.

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
