fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 (edited) Incredible! 9.6M votes!! We beat out Red Sox Nation, the Yankee fan base, the Tigers fan base and the Texas fans! Justice is Served! Edit: Holy f*** Freeman destroyed the NL: Edit2: No Canadian voted for the Texas reliever lol: Edited July 11, 2013 by fatcowxlive
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 Puig should have made it, I know everyone says SSS but Puig has already amassed 2.0 WAR and Freeman has 1.5 WAR over the full half season. I liked Puig going, but an alliance is an alliance too! Atlanta and Jays did partnership, and both sides came out happy!
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 You know the All Star game is kind of broken when a team that's under .500 and in 5th place is getting represented by not one, but TWO pop-up, non-closing relief pitchers. Josh Donaldson has been a stud all year. Evan Longoria isn't going. You need a relief pitcher? Why not Greg f***ing Holland, who has been destroying worlds all year. Sigh.
Nox Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Really glad Cecil and Delabar made it over Longoria and Beltre....

bzapple Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I approve of these notes. And I fully expect about a dozen articles to be published tomorrow, whining about Puig not winning.
bzapple Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Really glad Cecil and Delabar made it over Longoria and Beltre.... If one of them was on the ballot they'd get my vote(s) over Delabar, but it looks like Leyland was dead set on getting another middle reliever.
Flashman Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Can't say I have a problem with it. It's the players the fans want to see. It was kinda amusing to see Jon Heyman lose his s*** over Delabar and Cecil after writing off Bautista as MVP candidate because he wasn't with a contender.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 Really glad Cecil and Delabar made it over Longoria and Beltre.... Why is the ASG roster carrying 3 second basemen on the reserves? Why did Kipnis and Zobrist make it over Longo/Beltre?
KSaw Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 A thread is started to announce that Delabar got in and his name gets misspelled in the title... on a Blue Jays board?
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Deli Bar http://www.streetdirectory.com/stock_images/travel/simg_show/11641980730328/1/deli_bar/

imsorry4beatinU Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Damn, Freeman got so much votes haha. I voted for Delabar like around 2000 and Freeman 400
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 A thread is started to announce that Delabar got in and his name gets misspelled in the title... on a Blue Jays board? Hey! My job is to break the news first, not a dictionary lol

Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Puig should have made it, I know everyone says SSS but Puig has already amassed 2.0 WAR and Freeman has 1.5 WAR over the full half season. Well he'll have a legit chance next year, and so forth
flafson Verified Member Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Funny, i thought Delabar is going to be number 1 everywhere, Freeman had like twice as many votes. Thank god we weren't against him or Puig.
