Puig should have made it, I know everyone says SSS but Puig has already amassed 2.0 WAR and Freeman has 1.5 WAR over the full half season.

 

I liked Puig going, but an alliance is an alliance too! Atlanta and Jays did partnership, and both sides came out happy!

You know the All Star game is kind of broken when a team that's under .500 and in 5th place is getting represented by not one, but TWO pop-up, non-closing relief pitchers.

 

Josh Donaldson has been a stud all year. Evan Longoria isn't going. You need a relief pitcher? Why not Greg f***ing Holland, who has been destroying worlds all year.

Can't say I have a problem with it. It's the players the fans want to see. It was kinda amusing to see Jon Heyman lose his s*** over Delabar and Cecil after writing off Bautista as MVP candidate because he wasn't with a contender.
