He's a basketball guy. I'm not even sure why he hung around Toronto in the off-season or how he landed this gig. Still, I'd take him over Black and Cambell on voice alone. Devlin had a wonderful timbre.

Meh, he's just a generic guy. Commentators rarely disrupt my enjoyment of a game unless they make a ton of blunders (which I haven't noticed from Devlin) or are obnoxious tools like Hawk Harrelson or Rick Sutcliffe.

He is good at basketball IMO and yes he's better than Black. Devlin and Black are equivalently poor in baseball knowledge but at least Devlin brings some excitement. Campbell knew the MLB team inside and out despite being boing/nerdy, so I'd take Jamie.

This is a weird, post for one, why did you go back and look over all my posts? That's creepy. Also, my first day the jays lost again, look around, most peoples posts have been negative. This may blow your mind but there is a correlation to how the team does and peoples posting behaviour.

I actually don't mind Devlin. Tabler is a lot more tolerable when he's working with him. When he's with Buck it just gets downright weird and awkward sometimes with their stupid jokes. Buck is probably the creepiest little man on television...every time they have a guest with them in the booth he asks a question and then sticks his face right up into the guest's face and wears the creepiest smile. So uncomfortable.

 

But again...anyone > Jamie Campbell or Rob Faulds so I am not complaining.

I don't think he's too bad. But I'm used to him from Raptors games.

He does seem to know his baseball, I can't remember off the top of my head, but I remember a couple comments he made couldn't have been made from an average fan.

His a Basketball guy but who would you rather listen to. He is well respected in the NBA and he also does NBA playoffs for TNT.
