lol KLaw actually broke the news, that's cool. I like this for the Cubs, Jake Arrieta has a decent arm. If Feldman was the O's #1 target we're in good shape. He can be a good #4 I guess.

Was gonna say, I could see Arrieta doing okay for the Cubs, possibly similar numbs Feldman just put up there.

Ah Scott Feldman pitching in the AL East, not to sure I think he's a significant add to the Orioles rotation. I could see him being a decent No. 4 or 5 starter who eats innings, though that's about it.

Not a bad move for them.

Feldman isnt the big deal. He returned to the American League, The AL East will eat Feldman alive.

It's the O's. They're going to catch lightning in a bottle and he will pitch like an ace for them.

Man Baltimore is going to be a really scary team if they start trading for or signing some decent starters.

I'm actually jealous of that roster going forward.

Well their batting lineup 1-5 is pretty scary

Best part of deal for Cubs will be bonus slots 3 & 4 acquired for Orioles in Feldman deal...Cubs preferred slots to lower level prospects

+1

He's doing a good job of collecting depth for the future. Feldman was a nice low-risk signing in the first place and now Epstein has extracted some potential long-term value from him. Probably will do the same with Schierholtz and DeJesus in the next couple weeks.

No, he's not a big deal, but didn't cost very much, and could be a decent #5. I mean he'll probably have an ERA in the low 4s, but could be worse.
