I don't follow the nba that closely other than watching some of the Raptor's games when I'm bored, but that return seems terrible.

 

It's roughly what we gave up lol. Great job Ujiri. Vasquez ~= Calderon, Patterson's worse than Davis but I like him for some reason, Salmons only has a year left and Chuck Hayes has a pulse, so

No, Rudy Gay is like the worst player ever to make 18 mil a year. He basically had zero value.

If we flip Vasquez for a pick then it turns into a real tank move. Hayes is a pulse Patterson's a solid project and Salmons' a relic.

I've watched him live at least five times this year and he's really, really good. Not a franchise changing guy but he moves really well. I think he's going to continue to blossom and is years away from his peak.

Seeing him waving his arms like crazy as he's either wide open or has a huge mismatch and then having Gay/Lowry just completely ignore him is enraging.

Yeah he had a really good year as a PG last season. Just looked up his stats. Peterson doesn't look that bad as well - averaged 12 PPG not a while ago and was a former 1st round pick - maybe a change of scenery helps him out.

Well I only wanted to see Rudy get traded if we got back a decent young option and we did with Vasequez. Good trade, now lowry for a simlar type return please

I think Lowry should net you a much better return (mid to late round pick). Considering he is playing really well right now and Rudy was playing like complete dogshit, plus the fact Lowry is a relatively cheap expiring (8 million I think). Once Kyle goes, the real tank will begin because he is a far more productive player than Vazquez, who may be the worst defensive PG in the NBA.

Last night was the most watchable game of the season BY FAR. Ball movement was much improved just by losing Gay lol. I thought it was Casey, but maybe not (He's still has to go).

 

Watching the team last night I couldn't help but want them to win. But of course we need to tank. I think I like almost everyone on the team now besides Casey.
