Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 MIL just went on a 45-10 run. Yeah, the Bucks are good. I'm glad we upgraded from Coach Casey though, he wasn't able to adapt at all mid-game. Also, the Pistons have now lost 14 straight playoff games
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 At least one team is taking care of business so far
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Raps will handle Philly but lose to whichever of Bos/Mil
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Raps will handle Philly but lose to whichever of Bos/Mil They can take Boston... They don't scare me. Don't want any party of Milwaukee though.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Raps are absolutely crushing Orlando.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Ok, finish it Tuesday, no screwing around, no keeping them close, for a last minute buzzer shot.. Step on their neck and finish it! Thank you! Too bad it didn't rub off on the Leaves..
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Scrub time. Orlando will shave 10 points off this lead now.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I almost feel bad for Orlando. This series was not close.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I am not sure if the time off will be good. I tend to believe it backfires and guys lose their rhythm and groove.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I almost feel bad for Orlando. This series was not close. That’s my first time watching their center, I’d see some big games in the box scores during the season. He didn’t look impressive. Gordon was very meh too. Not much to be excited about with them

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 All aboard the Raptors bandwagon!
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 They're built for playoff success this year
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 They're built for playoff success this year The first round in the East was a joke. None of those teams had a shot in the world in a 7 game series. This next round it should get good

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Man, is it ever nice to have 2 former NBA Defensive Players of the Year to match up against Embiid and Butler, not to mention Lowry drawing multiple charges per game, and Green and Siakam also being plus defenders. The Raps starting 5 might actually be the top D in the playoffs.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Russ being Russ. On his way to triple double halfway through the 3rd but 6 for 18 from the field lol. Lillard drops 34 in first half
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Damian Lillard is the baddest of men.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Wow, what a choke by OKC in the final minutes. They had the game in hand.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 It's funny, Lillard is getting all kinds of love for that game winning shot. Good thing he made it, because they didn't even attempt to run a play with plenty of time available. Instead he takes an extreme range three that probably had a 20% chance of actually going in. It was a terrible play call and shot selection, with a lucky result.

It's a bad shot for most players and definitely not what Terry Stotts would have wanted him to do, but he sure made a statement with it. I don't think it's as much luck as you think, he's an excellent outside shooter with plenty of range. Sometimes you gotta whip your dick out and take that kind of shot because you can.

Well, I mean that was a 36' shot. He was closer to the half court than the three point line. He had plenty of time to get a much closer, higher percentage look. It was a bad decision with a good outcome for him. Here's the data for the shot: https://stats.nba.com/events/?flag=3&CFID=&CFPARAMS=&PlayerID=203081&TeamID=1610612757&GameID=0041800165&ContextMeasure=FGM&Season=2018-19&SeasonType=Playoffs&RangeType=2&StartPeriod=1&EndPeriod=10&StartRange=28748&EndRange=28800§ion=game&sct=plot

Free was shooting from out there for 2 points in his day, a pioneer.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 That was a really ugly half of basketball.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Clippers probably won't win the game, but that was a fantastic half for them.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Jokic is a monster. He has an outside chance at a 50 point triple double.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Jokic is a monster. He has an outside chance at a 50 point triple double. It took both Aldridge and DeRozan shooting lights out to combat Jokic. This series has been the pick of the first round (the Warriors have only lost 2 through complacency).
