Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Hayward just f***ed himself. Good lord that's hard to look at. That's one of the grossest sports injuries you'll ever see. DAMN that was stomach-turning.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 I cringed so hard when I saw that. So gross.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 That's one of the grossest sports injuries you'll ever see. DAMN that was stomach-turning. Shiiiiiit. That's like ... Psycho Sid snapping his leg level gross.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Ugly break. I don't get grossed out. Feel bad for Hayward though.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 That's one of the grossest sports injuries you'll ever see. DAMN that was stomach-turning. I thought Paul Geogre'd was worse, but that may have been because there was a clear angle to see it suddendly snap. Both brutal obviously
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 The Chicago Bulls are going to lose a lot of basketball games this year
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 The Chicago Bulls are going to lose a lot of basketball games this year No kidding. They got absolutely shredded by the Raps second unit.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 The Bulls are horrendous so there's not a lot we can discuss here, but the ball movement was great from everyone on the court for the Raps. Hell Derozan only had 9 total shot attempts. CJ Miles, Delon and OG Anuoby were particularly impressive tonight.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 OG was very impressive out there, but he wasnt exactly going against top tier competition. I think I counted 4 times Demar passed open easy floaters or layups that resulted in a turn over. Lonzo Ball looked awful as well
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Is it mean that I really want Lonzo Ball to fail because his dad is such a cock?
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Probably yea. The kid himself seems fine
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Probably yea. The kid himself seems fine Meh. No one's ever accused me of being nice. Why start now...
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I wouldnt be surprised if the Raptors or Wiz take the #1 seed. Don't count out the Bucks either. Jabari Parker is due back around February time, he'd be a nice addition to the rotation for the last part of the season. Their weakness is rotation depth and they could do with upgrading from Jason Terry for the 3 point shooter from the bench role.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 lulz... I love me some Snoop, lol. http://www.tmz.com/2017/10/20/snoop-dogg-burns-lavar-ball-lonzo-ball/
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 If anyone wants tickets, have season seats again for the Raps so just shoot me a PM.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 The ultimate rookie mistake:
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I was saddened by the Raptors solid performance last night. I had them dead set on coasting/underperforming the whole game like they usually do in these situations. They were allowed to win, just not by more than 13 points
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 Ben Simmons is really good
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 This second unit is looking fantastic again.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 3 ball is working tonight. It's a shooting gallery Getting a couple Ws in these games is key since they go on a 6 game road trip with the first 2 in San Antonio and Golden State... and ending against the Wizards.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Drake just called the Raps going to Eastern finals
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Drake just called the Raps going to Eastern finals I just want them to play either Washington or Boston in the second round. Watching another sweep against CLE would be depressing
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Incredible 4th quarter between the T-Wolves and OKC. Westbrook was amazing, George was pretty bad offensively, Melo made the almost-game-winning shot and Canadian boy Andrew Wiggins with the banked 3 buzzer-beater. That was a lot of fun to watch.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Loving this high tempo game the Raps are playing. Both teams playing really, really hard right now.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Leafs are going to have all the attention this year but I really like this Raps team. Should be a top 3 team in the East and maybe 2nd.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Loving this high tempo game the Raps are playing. Both teams playing really, really hard right now. At the half raps are getting out rebounded 31-15, but are winning the turnover battle with only 5 vs SAs 12.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Pretty impressed by the Raptors effort tonight. They're getting hammered on the boards but I don't think it's because of effort
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Pretty impressed by the Raptors effort tonight. They're getting hammered on the boards but I don't think it's because of effort Yeah... bjt SA is without Kawai and Parker, Raps should win this easy but they're juts not as active in the 2nd half. Lots of standing around and iso-ball. Poeltl is playing very well though. Up by 6 with 9 to go.... looks good if the 1st unit can keep it up when they get back in, which they should given the aforementioned absences from San Antonio.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Yeah... bjt SA is without Kawai and Parker, Raps should win this easy but they're juts not as active in the 2nd half. Lots of standing around and iso-ball. Poeltl is playing very well though. Meh I don't think so, Derozan's had a few but I wouldn't call it ISO ball. Raps have missed a ton of open looks from 3. Knock down a few of them and the game is pretty different.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Pretty impressed by the Raptors effort tonight. They're getting hammered on the boards but I don't think it's because of effort Yeah, of all the games for JV to miss, this was about the worst possible. Poeltl is playing great though!
