This still all comes down to what you trade him for. Brb making a list.

That second half was ugly until about the last 5 minutes, but that first half was about as good half as the Raps have played all year.

Jekyll and Hyde Raptors this series. when they're good they are very good and when they are bad they really bad.

lets hope the good Raps show up in game 5

nah you don't let ben wallace 2.0 go no matter what

Kyle was obviously amazing today, but also huge props to Derozan for coming through in the most critical part of the game. When Cleveland didn't miss a single shot to start the 4th, it seemed like DD was right there to keep us in it.

biz

They might not have a choice, the money it will cost to resign him is prohibitive with JV also on the team since they can't be on the court at the same time.

If you want Biz resigned, JV would have to be traded.

And i see from an earlier post that's exactly what you're in favour of. So now that I'm caught up, I don't think I would max him though.

Lue's postgame is hilarious.

What aren't you complaining about the refs? Take a page out of Casey's playbook.

*shrugs*

Exactly. How do you complain about being the clear favorite of the whistle?

this game was fun, stressful, amazing and in the end the Raps won. can't ask for much more. It was huge of them to get it done after the Cavs took the lead in the 4th. Character game!!

Raps actually got the favourable whistle down the stretch. Does that make up for a bunch of crap calls the rest of the series? No, but that turned out to be a big factor in what turned out to be a close game.

Derozan was fantastic.

Whatever happens the Raptors have made it competitive at least.

Ok, so who were those *******s that said the Raptors were closer to Indiana and Detroit than the Cavs a few days ago?

The Cavs have two things going for them, having a basketball playing freak of nature (who is also a huge whiny crybaby) being born close to their city and an offense that excels at ball movement. Their defense is laughable. The Raptors honestly had a harder time breaking through the defense of Miami's banged up team than anything we've seen in the past two games. The Cavs are hardly the class of the East. They live off one dominant player.

If not for the refs in the first half and a few threes downed by a veteran bench player as Casey had a complete brain fart in man-to-man coverage decisions, the Raptors could have won this game by 30.

I'll admit I wasn't that high on the Raps after the first two games, though I still was looking forward to seeing what they would do at the ACC in Game 3 & 4. Toronto fans in general are pessimistic when things don't go well for their teams. Yeah the first two games of the series were ugly, though so many "casual" fans wrote off the Raps. For example, I had tickets for tonight that I was willing to sell at cost and one of my co-workers said that she wanted to see what happened on Saturday first and then she'd let me know. You saw the same thing with the Blue Jays against KC as well. Toronto fans really have mood swings, even in the playoffs. When the team is looking down and out, most fans are negative and just give up.

Lets enjoy this series regardless what Toronto does over the next two, or potentially three games. This is the first time in franchise history that the Raps made the Eastern Conference Finals. Let alone, they are only 2 wins away from the NBA Finals. Who would have thought? If you said that at the beginning of the NBA season, every Toronto fan probably would have doubted you.

Very true. no matter what happens I view this as a victory especially in the context that the Raptors have played nearly twice as many games as the Cavs since the playoffs have started. When Cleveland dominates, it looks like the Raptors are gassed, not that they are suffering from a lack of talent or cohesiveness.

Lol Lowry's mom tweeted this

Stephen A. Smith has got to be the biggest blowhard I've ever seen. I can't even look at a tiny ass picture of the guy's face on Twitter without building up rage.

Posted
that was the quintessential raptors win. come out early and take a nice lead into the 2nd half. immediately blow it all in the 3rd quarter. then keep their head above water with hot shooting in 4Q to get the win. cant tell you how many times i watched this happen throughout the season. its great when we win but those 3Q always kill me, and now that its happening in the playoffs... fuhgeddaboudit.

Now we can say that yea. This team has done a 180 from the first two series and playing competiive basketball agaisnt a good team which is all I wanted. No idea why Scola is still starting though and my rage for Casey continues as he brings literally nothing to do the table.

we seem to be the team that plays up or down to the competition. also i have heard us compared to that old pistons team a lot lately which is ridiculous. we dont have nearly the leadership/intagibles and defensive identity that those pistons teams had. i sort of see us more as that mavericks team that could never get over the hump for a few seasons until they won the ship.
