It's just hard to see how this team will ever find it's superstar to compete for championships. They're going to be picking in the 20s for the foreseeable future so we're not going to draft one and Toronto is not a location that is going to attract big time free agents. I guess Masai is banking on another harden situation to arise so we can swoop in or catch lighting in a bottle like Atlanta.

If we win, they'll come. Getting paid 50% in US dollars and living in a city with one of the best night lifes in North America = an attraction. Nobody wanted to play here when we sucked. It's clearly changed. Read the article Patterson wrote last week. Perception changes quickly.

Nothing against the guy personally, I'd walk away too if I didn't enjoy my job and was financially set. But athletes and entertainers should never compare themselves to the average person who doesnt enjoy their "9-5" job. It's like they forget there are single parents out there working s***** jobs 50+hrs a week and young adults who cant even get a half assed job without working odd hours and/or moving cities.

People in Toronto only go out on Friday and Saturday nights and bars are only open until 2 AM. Other than the weekend, night life here is pretty boring. Montreal is far better. And I won't even go into what it like in some parts Europe. Bars are still open right up until sunrise!

Looks like somewhat good news for Rose and the bulls with him only being out 4-6, i think most were figuring a lot longer. Side note...anybody think we can do what the Cavs did last night? Maybe DD can have a Lebron night with his Kobe esq shots.
