jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I warned you guys lol Ugh I wish Demar wasn't so hilariously bad. He wasnt last year though..I dont understand at all what happened to him and Ross. This team has become borderline top 15 maybe. If it wasnt for Masai bringin in Lou and Patterson's development we might not even be ahead of the Bucks, back in 7th
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Just keep taking jumpers guys, eventually they gotta start falling in, right?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Raps shooting a solid 5.3% from the field...

He just isn't a good player.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Demar had like one above avg. skill, getting to the line and now he can't even do that.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I can't believe we're even somewhat in this. We've somehow been lucky lol.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I can't believe we're even somewhat in this. We've somehow been lucky lol. Defense has actually been pretty good.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 f*** sakes, Carmelo Speights has shown up again.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Lol @ Ross carrying the offense.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 How dumb must dd be to continue to take fall away jumpers
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Looks like somewhat good news for Rose and the bulls with him only being out 4-6, i think most were figuring a lot longer. Side note...anybody think we can do what the Cavs did last night? Maybe DD can have a Lebron night with his Kobe esq shots. I thought you meant 4-6 months. For them to potentially get him back for the playoffs is huge, isn't his injury the same as Saunders'?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I think ECJF and jaysblue are at this game, lol. Bad night to be at this debacle.

SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 So, literally only good thing about this game from a Raptors perspective, TRoss' shot looks good finally
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 They don't call him garbage time Ross for nothing
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 They don't call him garbage time Ross for nothing I really don't even care, it was garbage time before he even entered the game. We need his shot to come back and his offensive game has looked good today
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) A few weeks ago Demar had a string of games where he had ~8 assists per game but Casey refused to praise him for that and just kept chirping how the team needs him to be their primary scorer. This is why Casey needs to be fired. He has a specific role for Demar and we'll never compete with him in that specific role. Ball movement and unselfish play needs to be emphasized but how is that going to stick when your coach doesn't even preach it? http://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/raptors-loss-warriors-definition-ugly/ "Quite simply the Warriors have given themselves over to the idea that passing the ball as often and efficiently as possible is a great way to play basketball. The Raptors don’t do this very much. They pass the ball 281 times a game, which is 25th in the NBA and they are second in the NBA in pull-up jumpers – by definition a contested shot — which they convert at just 34 percent." -- There is hope. Last season Warriors passed the ball less than any other team in the NBA, averaging 245.8 per game, this season they average 314 passes a game, which is good for eighth in the league. Improving their ball movement was the single biggest adjustment rookie head coach Steve Kerr pushed for when he took over from Mark Jackson who was fired in the off-season. Despite the Warriors high level of skill they were only 12th in the NBA in offensive efficiency and forcing their offence was identified as a reason why." -- TL;DR Dwane Casey needs to be fired. eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Anthony Mason died... Likely a heart attack. Guy averaged over 43 MPG in back-to-back seasons from 95-97! That's pretty impressive for someone his size.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Mike Malone please. Just make Casey go away
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Good god now lowery tonight. Vasquez with the start. Oh boy
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 It's so obvious that the commentator next to Leo is usually a radio guy. Completely different style, doesn't really comment on the game at all.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Wow, James Johnson is a mean man! Beautiful drive + slam.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Eric Smith is an awful play by play man. Reminds me of Sam Cosentino.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 James Johnson with the great play on Bargs, but it's wasted because Vasquez was daydreaming.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Lol Demar Derozan with the misplay of the year. What an idiot.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Did I just f***in witness that?
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I'm so sick of the guy, he better be traded in the offseason
