So um guys, did anyone notice the guy who posted the tweet's current jobs?

i wonder where you got that line from.

OKC was probably going to nab him the pick after.

yea if it wasn't them, SA may have apparently. they have really good international scouts

Here's our pick's DraftExpress Page with video. It says his wingspan is N/A but he looks like he has really long arms.

His wingspan is 7-7.

Xavier Thames. I really hope Masai knows what he's doing cause there's a good chance he missed on all three picks tonight.

Guys on RealGM seem to like the Thames pick, Alvin Williams-esque.

Edit: nvm lol, Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA 2m

Brooklyn has acquired the 59th and 60th picks, so Xavier Thames and Corey Jefferson will belong to them, source tells Yahoo.

Do you know how hard it is NOT to miss on 2nd round NBA draft picks?

I have faith in Masai. I knew nothing about Bruno, but I'm gonna give him some leeway here and see how it goes. The potential seems to be there, let's hope our development skills are up to par

There were a lot of guys available at 37 though.

The DX looks great on Caboclo.

A 37 in this year's draft is basically a 20 in most. Massai hasn't made a single bad move yet, with multiple great adds to the time. He's earned the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise

When they say deep draft.... they don't mean that deep.

Yes, they do.

Anyone know what we got for Thames?

Bizarre pick that reminds me of another pick that was considered bizarre at the time: Peja Stojakovic. Nobody knew this guy at the time and Kings fans wanted John Wallace. One had a prolific career, while the other didn't. Anything's possible with the right management, and Masai has done enough to earn the benefit of the doubt.

Go look at any NBA draft... ever... from 20 on it's 95% dime a dozen scrubs. I don't know why people get so upset.

f*** me for having an opinion, amirite? I should just follow bleacher report's mocks and listen to exactly what Chad Ford tells me.

I was so excited for this draft and especially Raptors having 3 picks. I'm really disappointed and probably the worst case scenario for the Raptors this year.

Treadmill team all over again

Oh shut up, none of us know what to make of this draft unless you're a Brazilian basketball fan.

Don't know anything about this guy but he seems like a great athlete and his freaking wingspan is insane.

Ujiri knows what he's doing.

I don't think too many people are mad about the player, just where he was taken. That being said, none of us know how likely it would have been that he would still be available later.

I did wonder why we didn't flip our pick to the Heat for Cole (or whatever) and take him at 26, but for all I know he'd be gone by then.

Trust Ujiri until he gives you reason not too. He's worked miracles before.

Not even the experts know that much about the less heralded NBA draft prospects; nobody in the public sphere has enough knowledge on Caboclo to offer an opinion. It's not like baseball or football in that regard. Let's wait and see.

I See he could have traded back... But why bother? Just value of a trade like that is another bench player scrub... or a second round pick no one will ever hear of.

At least we are going to see him in action this summer/upcoming year. Sounds like he will be playing summer league and in the d-league as well. Which I like, Raptors can develop him the way they want without any outside interference
