The outcries from raptor fans who have never even heard of the guy is pretty hilarious though.

DRAFT EXPRESS didn't like him that much!

they said this dude is two years from being two years away. i bet they couldve gotten him easily in the second round. i trust masaii, maybe he knows something we don't. Remember what we all thought right after the Raptors traded Rudy Gay?

i wonder where you got that line from.

OKC was probably going to nab him the pick after.

This isn't baseball. Seems to me, in the history of the NBA draft.... it's about 80% bums at picks 20+.

So yeah... apparently some other team were going to pick him before 37 so they must really like him... I trust in Masai.

Yup. It makes some sense.

Miami has nothing. No thank you.

PG: ???

SG: Ross

SF: Demar

PF: Bosh

C: Val

6th: Amir

I feel like that's pretty lateral.

If we're doing a Sign & Trade it better not be for f***ing Bosh, Lowry is the guy that runs this offense, if we trade him we better get something much better.

Then who runs the point for us after that? Doubt we'd get anyone in FA and Ennis/Vasquez aren't nearly enough to start on a true contender.

Although, i'd be lying if I said I didn't want Bosh back. He's a good fit and I hold no ill will towards him.

How old is he now? I never hated him for leaving or anything but I'm afraid that being the third wheel in Miami has turned him soft, way too many 3 point shots and he's never been a good defender.

30 and a quarter or so.

Lowry

Ross

Demar

Bosh

Val

Amir

That's pretty nice. Although I don't know if that's possible with the cap.

That would be good but I think the reasoning behind the tweet was that Lowry was to be traded for Bosh, and if so they can GTFO.

Yeah, I was talking in general. That would be terrible.

Caboclo was the MVP of the most recent Basketball without Borders.. Guess we know where Masai laid eyes on him. Anyone know if he counts against the cap if he spends a couple more years in Brazil? I assume without a contract, no.

So what's so bad about Cleanthony Early? And dat name lol.

He's old for a draft prospect (23), combine wasn't great, bit of a tweener, don't like his form or release, probably won't be able to use his post game to the same extent in the NBA, can't create, etc

On the downside, Early's skill-level is still very much a work in progress, which is a little disconcerting considering he's one of the older players projected to be drafted. Under 8% of his offense came in one on one situations, as his ball-handling skills are rudimentary at best, particularly with his left hand, and he's an extremely poor passer with a questionable feel for the game.

Early's 6.1% assist percentage is shockingly low for a player who is projected to see some time playing on the perimeter. The only small forwards drafted with a lower assist percentage in our database spanning back to 2001 (who played over 20 minutes per game in that college season) are Lazar Hayward, Al Thornton, Shabazz Muhammad, Dahntay Jones, Deshaun Thomas, Bobby Jones, Damion James and Maurice Ager. Even for a power forward that's a fairly low rate. In two seasons of college basketball he dished out 50 assists in 1966 minutes, which is about one for every 40 minutes he plays.

That puts it pretty well

FWIW, I saw this on some other basketball message board I sometimes visit.

Brett Poirier NBA ‏@BrettNBA 2m

A Kyle Lowry sign-and-trade to Miami and a possible Chris Bosh return to Toronto will not happen, sources say.
