Studs like Ciriaco... Jesus that should warrant a banning right there

Man ur dumb. HE should be banned because he acknowledges the facts? Like the sox are a well ran organization?

Career .287 hitter jackass with solid defence/speed to boot and only 27 years old. But I guess he's a scrub and Lawrie is a future perennial all star?

I mentioned Lawrie? Keep building those strawmen...

You realize Ciriaco is not a STUD. He may not be a scrub, but he is not a stud. He's a bench player.

You'r post was typical stramwan............lol, ur dumb.

You're post??? You shouldn't be calling anyone dumb in the first place but if you do, at least make sure it's not directed at one of the best posters here.

BTW, isn't 35 a little bit too old for trolling?

One of the bets posters here? WOW standards sure are low, if this thread is any indication. Terrible posts.

Amazing how well the Sox are hitting. Pedroia, Victorino, Ortiz, Ellesberry, Nava, & Carp are all hitting up over or just under the .300 clip. Inglesias has only played 37 games but is seeing everything. Kid could be something special, especially with his defence and speed on the base paths. Sure their hitter friendly ball park can misconstrue their stats slightly, but this is a vastly superior hitting team to the Jays. Then they have studs like Pedro Cirianco riding the bench. Just goes to show their depth.

MY GOD !!! people shouldn't post when they don't have a clue what they are talking about !!! Pedro Ciriaco ( get the spelling right ) Boston traded him on the 14th of June Plays for the San Diego Padres

Have you ever challenged him to a foot race? If so, how did you do?

Jays are a plus 1 ,Yanks go to minus 14

Nice

This Yankee slide is much appreciated

The fact that Chris Davis and the Orioles are responsible for it? Not so much.

A lot of teams we have to pass including the Yankees and O,s . Nothing a 10 game winning streak won't fix but the front end of our rotation has to start getting lites out consistantly . Rogers and Wang can be 500 ,the other three need to really pitch

Absolutely right. And only Buerhle has been consistently good among the three over the past couple of months.

Dickey and Johnson have both been wildly inconsistent all year. It's maddening.

If that continues this team won't be in contention...THey absolutely need the top 3 in the rotation to be very good the rest of the way. Johnson has been the biggest disappointment imo.

I agree, but I'd like to think the offense will improve with a healthy Reyes, Cabrera and Lawrie. There's no doubt the team needs Buehrle to continue pitching well, not like an ace, but what's he's been doing. Johnson and Dickey need to put together 5 good starts and then I'd feel confident that they're back.

Keep in mind our schedule begins to lighten up after Detroit(although Detroit isn't playing well either--so you could say it's lightening up after Boston)

If that were possible--remember, teams are locking up their young stars, making it difficult for teams like the Yankees and Dodgers to buy their way out of trouble. With the new TV money helping smaller teams, it's more difficult for teams such as the Yanks or Dodgers to contend--teams with good cores and farm systems like the Red Sox, Cardinals, Braves, Rangers, A's have benefited.

Very true. The Rays are still competitive & if they played outside Florida they would have money to keep their star players.
