Last Place Finishes in last 31 years:

Devil Rays: 9

Orioles: 6

Indians: 5

Tigers: 3

Blue Jays: 3

Brewers: 2

Red Sox: 2

Yankees: 1

Now those are STATS worth looking at. You could bring Mark Wilner to tears. But that has been the Blue Jays goal the past 20 years at least, to play and fool Canada fans into thinking they are good. So good they didn't finish in last place. Which in hockey is a reward to the playoffs. Some Canadians just don't get it, in baseball you have to be good to get into the playoffs.

*IF* the Blue Jays could take 3/4 at home against Boston (quite possible. We do well against Biston anyway and we will not face Lackey or Bucholtz) the AL East race would be very tight. Only 6 games would separate us from Boston and we might pass someone in the process. As it stands things are tightening up:

It amazes me how the Yankees's record is as good as it is. So lucky.

It's our fault the Yankees are over .500

It reminds me reading the O's forum, they said that the only reason the Yankees are that high is because they are 9-1 against us while being terrible against everyone else.

People there had no idea how come Yankees own us so much.

It is and if we played better against the yanks we would be close to first place now..................Losing in the division like that really hurts.

Their expected record is 38-39 lol. I hate the Yankees.

They have a negative run differential so "should" be under .500. But they're won a s*** ton of one run games. That and their 8-1 record against the Jays is keeping them afloat.
