Here in Calgary, I see at least a hat or two every day.

 

Even I bought a Jays hat this year in the off season, When on a trip to DR in winter left it there and they have sucked so bad never replaced it

That was due to all the over hype in the off season. People made those purchases before the season started. Now that they have proven a failure I am sure sales have tanked. Once you buy a hat or shirt you may as well wear it though even though the team is too far out to make post season.

 

We don't know when they were bought but you may be right.

And Rogers may spend more money but we don't know what they're thinking.....I was shocked when they increased the payroll and if they spend more next year I'll be happy but shocked again.

Agreed. Attendance is still strong despite a last place team that has floundered since April 2. I read somewhere that TV ratings are flat which is OK. If Rogers has a lineup on opening day 2014 that looks "playoff" calibre team then Rogers will be happy & Jays fans will be happy.

The buzz about the blue jays has been crazy even with this terrible start.. I probably see 20 jays hats a day and I still here people talking about last night's game every day.

Yes Dickey has been very inconsistent just don't know what you'll get from him. Wang not sold on him yet, he pitched well but got hit hard that game.

That extra money is chump change to Rogers. They will easily cough that up if they believe the Jays can bring in more advertising revenue for them which seems likely.
