GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 WHEN THE f*** WILL THE MLB DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS? This is f***ing horrendous.
dmrich28 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 bad call..still a bad team either way
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Well, good game. They almost came back, bullpen shut it down after Ortiz.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 I'm too f***ing pissed to make a PGT lol #f***MLB
Cello Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Jays' record vs AL East opponents = 9-18 W T F
Buster Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Ump: "we can't have JPA win this game. That would not be justice."
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Every umpire should be fired tonight and be replaced with computers. This is inexcusable at this point. And NOTHING WILL BE DONE. THERE WILL BE NO DISCIPLINE OF ANY KIND!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Unsurprising. For all his guff about wanting rational and reasonable discussion, he is more concerned with 'winning' an argument. Anybody with a keen eye for logic can see the twisting fallacies he commits. I've never understood any reverence for the man -- he's disingenuous. Wilner is an agitator at best and a real dick on his bad days. he used to have some interesting things to say, but the last few years he has become a Rogers nut hugger. you cant say anything negative without him going on a rant.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 If Lawrie had Kawasaki's approach at the plate he'd be a perennial MVP candidate. If JP had Kawasaki's discipline he would be #top10catcher
Cello Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 AL East Standing: 1. New York 28-17 2. Boston 27-18 3. Baltimore 24-21 4. Tampa 24-21 5. Toronto 18-27
pewpewpewjays Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 some garbage rookie from yankees single A would have hit a homer in that exact situation....but jays put any "all star" in that situation, gets himself out for the convenience of the others
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I personally volunteer to go to the umpires hotel tommorow and drive Dale Scott to Lenscrafters
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 This has to be one of the worst umps ive seen all year. Obvious strikes called balls, obvious balls called strikes for both team. Tampa has been screwed multiple times though this year in the 9th so they were due
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Everyone vote Arencibia and Lawrie to start in the All Star Game TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Clomero Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 when russ ortiz is your best starter, you arent going anywhere stop caring so much when the team loses its filled with scrubs, maybe one of the worst teams jays have had in years AA needs to go, we need a fresh start

He almost lost his job @ FAN590 for that Cito incident, eh.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Here's the AB from brooksbaseball: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/numlocation.php?pitchSel=407845&game=gid_2013_05_21_tbamlb_tormlb_1/&batterX=72&innings=yyyyyyyyy&sp_type=1&s_type=3 So egregious. even worse after Rodney gave up a 4 pitch walk. how do you get anything off the plate when you cant throw a strike?? brutal!!!
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Another winnable game lost... Just gotta win tomorrow now
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I personally volunteer to go to the umpires hotel tommorow and drive Dale Scott to Lenscrafters Or you could take him for a nice canoe ride, Dave Semenko style. russ ortiz Not even quality trolling, can we get a ban?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 He almost lost his job @ FAN590 for that Cito incident, eh. the entire Rogers collaboration is hunting 24/7 for irrelevant SSS stats to try to make their players look better. the problem is that the fans are watching the games and can see that they are full of s***.
bzapple Verified Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Yeah Clomero should go, he's garbage.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I honestly can't believe that the MLB can even defend not using a computerized strike zone. It's disgusting, that s*** should NEVER happen. Sure, they Jays would have probably lost because, frankly, they're a pretty bad team right now, but if an umpire makes a single mistake in a season, he should be replaced by computers and replays. The technology exists, so why are 4 (usually) fat (usually) white guys having ANY impact on baseball anymore? The "human element" can suck on my sweaty "I was working outside all day and... just DAMN..." balls.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
