deadlee Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Boni with a double yesterday (I think?), one today and now a bomb. Is this real life?
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Boni 2-2 on the day, both extra base hit, nice to see him contribute finally
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Oh yeah, I agree Gose has struggled of late, but he has time to turn things around and he does take his BB which is a positive. As I said, this team will need guys like him, Pillar or Sierra to save money as bench options as well as guys like Nolin, Stroman, Hutchison to provide depth for the rotation next year with all the money committed to older players. I've been watching his stats..... at one point he had like 16 BB and 3 SO, now he has 18 BB and 32 SO ...... LOL!!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 One good thing about starting the season so bad.. When players string together a few nice hits, we can get very excited.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Just checking in. Jays have a chance to win this series? It's a miracle.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 who's the fat guy running on the field high fiving Victorino LOL probably High85
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Looks like Cabrera is off his vitamins again...
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 The day Boni starts taking a walk is the day I stop hating his sorry ass.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Just checking in. Jays have a chance to win this series? It's a miracle. Considering who we had starting yes it is.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Bautista .314 .438 .400 .838 in May. How does a 50K poster turn into a troll? The Blue Jays.. that's how.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 .338 OBP in AAA (.228 BA)... that probably equates to about .290 OBP in ML? .250, actually. http://mlsplits.drivelinebaseball.com/mlsplits/mlecalc
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Agreed for the most part but Gose won't be up to sit on the bench. He'll be an everyday player, when promoted. I think Gose will be another Bonifacio unless he figures it out soon..
NiagaraJaysFan Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Every dog has it's day. Boni is having his.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 The Blue Jays.. that's how. I know, I actually get it now... it makes sense.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 .250, actually. http://mlsplits.drivelinebaseball.com/mlsplits/mlecalc wow
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 f***ing Napoli. Holy f***ing wind, batman.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Wind is blowing hard right now. 2 quick outs after the home run, good job Jenkins!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Jenkins needs to keep the ball down, the ball seems to be carrying.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Good job Jenkins!!! Looking like he might get the next start too
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Jenkins with 4 IP of 1 run ball. I'm pretty sure no one expected this lol.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I think Gose will be another Bonifacio unless he figures it out soon.. Except for the fact that Gose provides stellar defence at a premium position.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 wow Sigh, he really needs to cut down on the f***ing K's. At least he's walking, though.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 That carried out? Must be the wind....Wow?!?! same way Boni's carried out. that's why Victorino thought he had a play on that ball all the way until he hit the wall.
