Ryan Goins would be a decent backup. He won't really hit well but his defense is good. He's Manny Lee.

I wish I was born in 92. Stop being so f***ing gay, it's nauseating.

Do you have something against gays' people?

Posted
No, not at all.

Weren't you already called out once today for Homophobic slurs?? This is hilarious. You really are bordering on hate speech.

Ok listen up. If there is anybody on this board that is truly a homosexual, I will do everything in my power to never use a homophobic slur on this board ever again,on my kids. I have nothing against gay people whatsoever, just come out and tell me. We're not animals.

There are 100+ active users on this forum. Odds are that at least a dozen gay people have read this thread.

I am. Although living near hillbillies for 18 years has made me immune to those words. Fag away if you feel like it adds to how you want to present yourself, champ.

Obviously it would make typing a f*** of a lot harder with hooves or paws....

I know of a few gay people that post here. I hope absolutely none of them feel obliged to tell you that they're gay just to be free from reading your casually slung homophobic slurs.

That's not how I want to present myself. You know nothing about my life outside this board, so you can relax. I respect you coming out and publicly stating your sexuality.

No more homophobic slurs, even though I just meant it in fun and in other ways, as promised.

Prospects are about coaching and the learning curve. We just veered away from baseball for a moment. Prospects of this board just improved and now we can get back to normal. How about that SRF.

Reid-Foley and Matt Smoral have very similar stat lines over their milb careers, Smoral having about double the sample size. Based on the scouting reports around draft time it seemed that SRF was pretty polished and a bit maxed out, Smoral being more physical but less refined. So far both have them show the same dominant high strikeout and ground ball inducing potential, coupled with a high walk rate that has hindered them so far (albeit in a very small sample). Any new scouting reports on either of their stuff so far this spring?

So high schoolers need to be mechanically polished by the time they graduate eh?

Ok, Mr. Ricciardi.

I fully expect Aces

Sean Reid-Foley, RHP, Blue Jays (Lansing, A-): 1 2/3 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 3 K. The delivery concerns that surrounded Reid-Foley before the draft and partially caused him to slip to the second round were mostly due to potential injury ramifications, but they also plague his command, which is below average at present. The mid-90s arm is full of potential, but he’s loose with his command at this point, even by Midwest League standards.

Sean Reid-Foley, RHP, Blue Jays (Lansing, A-): 3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K. Reid-Foley has a big arm, which is what got him selected in the second round in last year’s draft. The Blue Jays, feeling aggressive up-and-down their minor-league system this spring, assigned the 19-year-old to full-season ball despite just 22 2/3 Gulf Coast League innings on his resume. Reid-Foley is going to have some issues throwing strikes initially, with a lot of movement in his delivery, but his raw stuff should be enough for him to get by in the Midwest League as he refines the rest of the package.

Those don't really seem like fresh scouting reports, or even scouting reports at all, but I haven't read anything re: SRF that is any different from that stuff.
