King Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Any idea when this year's minor league rosters are out? Lansing team will arrive/be announced tomorrow
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Buffalo roster http://www.milb.com/documents/1/3/6/116543136/2015_Buffalo_Bisons_Roster_ccsevg8i.pdf Youngest guys on the team are 26 lol
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Anyone know where Boyd and Cole will start 2015? I would think NH which could mean a quick promotion to Buffalo with a good start. AA.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 The Fisher Cats roster is so old too. 1/3 of this team would be on most teams AAA Roster.. http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2015/4/6/8352985/opening-day-roster-for-the-new-hampshire-fisher-cats
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 According to Gerry from battersbox, Alford and Labourt might be going to Dunedin
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Did Ryan Schimpf sign somewhere else as a minor league free agent
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 According to Gerry from battersbox, Alford and Labourt might be going to Dunedin Alford tweeted that he was headed to Lansing.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 The NH and Buffalo rosters are so depressing...
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Randy Wolf, Chad Jenkins, Jeff Francis, Andrew Albers, Scott Copeland. Your AAA SP depth... Oh, Johan Santana and Felix Doubront too. gulp.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Gerry also mentioned that the Lansing rotation looks like it could be De Jong, Suriel, Mallard, Dawson and Shafer. No Smoral, Smith, Greene, Borucki (injured), or Huffman. Gross

Another short season assignment for him would suck. I assume they're keeping Labourt away from the cold weather and that he'll be in Dunedin. Lugo will definitely be there. No mention of Tirado means he'll probably in the Dunedin pen avoiding the cold weather.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I'm surprised Boomer Collins was promoted to Lansing and not released after a pretty atrocious season as a 25 year old in Vancouver.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Dunedins roster http://www.bluebirdbanter.com/2015/4/6/8353057/opening-roster-for-the-dunedin-blue-jays Alford apparently starting the season on the DL
tercet Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Man all those rosters are so terrible.. Hopefully Smoral,Hoffman are the first guys called up when Lansing needs more pitching
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Hoffman is still rehabbing. The goal is for him to start pitching in real games in May. My guess is that will be in Dunedin. Really surprised Smoral didn't make a full-season roster. Must have had an awful spring...or he's hurt. Wonder if they are taking the cold weather in Lansing into more consideration this year.
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Balbino Fuenmayor is starting for the Royals in AA this season, as is Santiago Nessy.
metafour Verified Member Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Told you guys 100 times that Labourt > Smoral.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Balbino Fuenmayor is starting for the Royals in AA this season, as is Santiago Nessy. Wasn't really a big fan of giving Balbino his walking papers...
tercet Verified Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Deck McGuire got released from A's and signed with LA Dodgers..
tercet Verified Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Wasn't really a big fan of giving Balbino his walking papers... Sorry but he was terrible for several years in Van/Lansing when we released him 2 yrs ago..
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Conner Greene is in Lansing despite not being listed on the roster.
bendera3 Verified Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Wasn't really a big fan of giving Balbino his walking papers... I got to see him play in Vancouver when I went up there to visit. My brother just kept asking who that goofy lookin' guy was. It was also a funny game filled with so many errors that we couldn't stop laughing.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Don't necessarily agree, but what I am a fan of is your movie getting an R rating now, instead of the original PG13. If it's anything like the leaked script, really the only NEED for it to be an R would be to get extra blood splatter. The action pieces were very Matrix-like, and Wolverine managed to murder a whole lot of people in X-Men movies without tonnes of blood... But I'm cool with the R rating, as long as it doesn't make the box office numbers suffer, 'cause I want sequels, dammit!
King Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I'm a little bit surprised Burns is repeating AA again. He turned it on in the 2nd half of last season (.362 wOBA). If he hits well he could move up quickly though.

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
