Julio Uria? The mexican kid?

Yes Urias. This was the write up on back during the International signee period last year, where BA ranked him outside their top 20 but put him in the HM. Yesterday he sat 92 pretty comfortably and certainly didn't look out of place against much older

There are teams who think Mexican lefthander Julio Urias belongs with the other top pitchers in this year's class. At 6 feet, he doesn't have a lot of size, but he's still only 15 and is already throwing in the high-80s and touching 92 mph with feel for his craft. He has a good delivery, a loose arm, he's able to cut his fastball and throw it for strikes, which is why some scouts prefer him to Venezuelan lefthander Jose Castillo. His changeup is one of the best secondary pitches in this year's class, throwing the pitch in the high-70s and earning plus to plus-plus future grades from scouts. Like Blue Jays righthander Roberto Osuna last year, Urias pitches for the Mexico City Reds. Some teams think the Dodgers will sign Urias in a package deal along with a few other players for more than $1 million, maybe even close to $2 million. Whoever does sign Urias will get some flexibility in its bonus pool because MLB has said that for Mexican League transfers, only the amount of the payment that goes to the player—typically 25 percent—will count against the team's pool space if he's a Mexican-born citizen like Urias.

Should Jackson be moving up the system fast this year considering he will be rule 5 eligible?

I don't think anyone's gonna take him, but I wouldn't be opposed to it.

If he's throwing mid 90's with some semblance of command it wouldn't be out of the question for someone to steal him and stick him in the pen for a year then send him back down.

His walk rates are pretty high, and Jackson in an MLB pen anywhere scares the living hell out of me right now. He's only doing semi-well at Lansing.

Hence the "if" part of my statement

Funny thing is I watch Chopped on Food Network a lot. One of the chef judges names is Aaron Sanchez too. So when you search twitter you get stuff on both of them.

He moved him up to #13 overall, so yeah, I don't really think it's that serious.

I'll believe it's not serious if he's back starting soon given all the 'minor' injuries that turn into month long DL stints with the big league club.

1-2-3 inning for Norris with no K. Time to release this organizational filler.

he looks damn good out there

Norris improving a lot

I said the same thing when I saw him in Vancouver last year. He is listed at 5'5" and he was standing next to Art Charles, who is 6'6" and built like a tank. It was comical.

Has anyone seen Gustavo Pierre has only walked 1 time in almost 200 AB's. We thought JPA was bad that's embarrassingly brutal. He some how still has an .OPS over .800. I guess hes playing mainly third base now because he was brutal defensively at SS.

Future corner OF (Bat speed, raw pop, speed but awful discipline)

This made me hard as a rock. Stoked about Kid Mexico getting back on track.

NH's next 6 are on TV. Stroman should have 2 starts in the stretch. I'll try and give a good assessment of where he is.

I got shutdown as too many users used my MILB info. Had to phone up and get it back. Can't loan it out anymore.

I think Sportsnet should start picking up some Bisons and Fisher Cats games. Especially on days the Blue Jays don't play. They can put them on the score or something.

Id love this...
