Where would you put Ortiz? I hope he's at least in your top 20.

Okay, there's absolutely no way you're being serious. I'm calling Poe's Law on this.

It's weird looking at the career of Langerahans. I wonder why he got so many chances to play at the major league level... And I wonder now why he just wouldn't hang them up.

Solid, solid fielder who can play all 3 OF positions. Statlines when younger aren't at all disappointing when looking at ARL. Had speed and a bit of pop.

Who play outfield in Buffalo tonight? Langerhans, Sierra (CF), ?

Velez is of, maybe him of and negrych to 2b

I approve of your trolling. You're really grinding his gears, quite lulzy.

McCoy, Velez and Negrych can all play the outfield, 2b and 3b. McCoy also has shortstop on his Résumé. Sierra played a fair bit of CF Last year in the spacious Vegas outfield and was fine. While he's not a great CFer, he's still young enough to get by there in spot duty. They have plenty of moving piece options.

Annnnd.. Aaron Sanchez 7 day DL. Guess there was something more than "high pitch count"... Of course

I posted his removal from the game as soon as I saw it, was suspicious from the get go, I hope I don't anywhere that AA said it's "minor" or anything like that, he needs to stfu.

Loewen will likely be moved to Buffalo. He played for the Bisons last year too.

I wonder if Loewen could be helped from Delabars program and get back to the mound. I know they both have elbow issues, but I think Loewens might be much worst.

Calm down. Prospects get hurt. Nicolino, Syndegard, Woj, and Descifina are healthy and are all pitching really well. Yes, Osuna and Sanchez are hurt and thier value is low, but the other guys look great and are the backbone of a nice farm system.

oh wait...

What is the scouting report on Lopes? How's his defense? And chance for power/speed/great eye?

Good bat speed, not great and can hit both ways. His bat is his best tool.

Weak arm, he's a 2B all the way.

So this is the one guy in the system that's not an athlete first and he's a 2B to boot? Pinch me!

Somewhere, a neglected Andy Burns silently weeps in a corner.

LOL, I've been hoping Burns gets moved to 2B and promoted to AA...he's the guy with the hit tool who's also got some SB and more BB's than K's so even better.

If one of pillar or burns becomes a major league bench player the jaays should take it and run.

That .427 wOBA is just incredible.

I agree, but I read where Burns had to sit out the 2011 college season due to switching schools and that might've been why he dropped to the 11th round. Anyway, at least a few guys are hitting, long ways to go of course.

Surprised Eric Arce isn't with Lansing, no?

Where is he this year? I remember lighting up some level or other last a year or two ago.

He set the GCL HR record in 2011. Other than that, he was in Bluefield last year. Now I have no clue where the f*** he is. No big deal, he had power and nothing else.

Unfortunately I went through great efforts to defend and support the great Eric Arce :(

Fangraphs article on Sean Nolin,

http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/sean-nolin-next-blue-jays-savior/

the left-handed pitcher struggled with his fastball command and the opposing hitters were having some really good hacks on his offerings. He was also not throwing his curveball for strikes on a consistent basis. The good news is that those issues should be correctable.

In general, his delivery suggests to me that he’ll never have better than average command. I would give his low-90s fastball a potential 50 grade and his curveball a 55-60.

I would have to rate Nolin as a future No. 4 starter. He doesn’t look ready for the majors but another 10-15 minor league starts could make a world of difference.

I'm sure the Jays scouts are telling Alex he's ready and his command looks great.

I've seen Pillar play in person a few times this year. I think he'll be a fourth OF in the Majors. Similar to a Rajai Davis, but with a better average and fewer stolen bases. He doesn't have the power to be an everyday player.
